Afternoon Diary,
Chrysalis and DF0D thanks for your good night wishes! It was ok nothing too exciting though and I don't think I would go back to that place again. I spent £30 including taxis so not too bad and I don't have a hangover which is a mega bonus for me :rotfl:.
So as predicted the other day DD2 isn't feeling so good today. Last night I noticed an odd red rash on her cheek so I thought maybe slapped cheek but its gone right down today so not sure. She's not massively poorly but definitely under the weather. She just can't sit still and seems bored but I've told her she needs to rest up today.
Im hoping today will be a NSD(8) but we do need some bread so it all depends on what DD's will be having for lunch tomorrow and we might need to nip out and buy some.
Its been raining this morning and so the ice/snow has washed away. We went out in my car last night for the first time in icy conditions and as I thought it was !!!!!! as its a big heavy thing with big tyres! Hoping DH's car will be better as its smaller. I suspect my car won't move when it snows properly!
Thats about all from me. Hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Glad your night was OK even better that you don't have a hangover, mine seem to have got worse even after only a bottle of rose I feel terrible!
I hope dd feels better soon, definitely a lot of sickness about, fingers crossed she's ok for school tomorrow.
Well done on the nsd's, at least today will be a lsd if you just need bread.

If I've had a heavy night Chrysalis my hangovers span 2 days . Me and the headteacher were laughing on Friday as she was out last night too so we agreed whoever was suffering the 2 day hangover didn't have to make the coffees :rotfl:. That will be making the coffees tomorrow then.
DD's ok at the minute, she's currently playing monopoly with DH. I think after a bath and a good sleep she will be ok for tomorrow. When I rang swimming to let them know she wouldn't be in they said the phone had been ringing off the hook with parents ringing their children in sick! At school theres been a lot off with high temps so I think she's got a touch of that.
So weve got a roast beef in the slow cooker for tea. It smells absolutely delicious xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hope DD is on the mend and glad you are not too hungover and suffering! Enjoy the roast!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Evening Diary,
Just watching our :money: on the TV!!!
DD2 has been off school today, luckily DH was off work. Her cold seems to be coming out in full force tonight, her poor little nose is red raw. If she needs another day off tomorrow il have to take a day off.
She currently laid in DD1s bed watching paw patrol and coughing her head off.
So yesterday was NSD8 :j.
Today has been a SSD, spent £8.23 in the farmshop.
Tomorrow I'm getting a Mr T's shop delivered for £50 and Weds I'm getting my eyebrows waxing so another SSD. Hopefully NSD9 on Thursday.
Cant believe what DD1 did today. DH made her packed lunch of pasta salad amongst other things as requested. She only went and forgot and had a school dinner which I now need to pay for!! I wouldn't have minded but id have preferred her to have a school dinner ha!
Right thats about all from me. Hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Afternoon Diary,
Im home from work early with DD2, DH took this morning off and weve swopped at lunchtime. Ive got her a doctors appointment this afternoon to get her checked over as she was crying in pain this morning.
Kind of wish I hadn't bothered going to work this morning as someone has really p!ssed me off! Im actually really sick of the way she sulks around and speaks to people and she chose the wrong one to pick on today. I shouldn't have bitten but you know sometimes you can't help it.
Nothing much more to report this afternoon! xMummytogirls x0 -
Hi, did the doctor diagnose anything in particular or run down with a virus? Hope she starts to feel better soon x
Boo to moody colleagues but sometimes they just need to be told!
Hope you have a good evening, will dd need to be off tomorrow too?

Evening Chrysalis,
Took DD to the dr expecting a chesty infection as she has a nasty cough and complaining of it hurting. She was actually diagnosed with an ear infection!!! She hasnt once complained about her ear but she didn't half scream the place down when the dr put the temp thing in her ear. She's given her some antibiotics and I'm really hoping she will be back at school tomorrow and she's desperate to go back too. Will see how she is in the morning.
The thing with narky colleague is it won't change anything. I actually don't know how she gets away with it and for so long too. Also people who say oh its just how Mr X is, I'm thinking well tough they shouldn't be allowed.
So in other news Mr T's brought my shopping without a hitch. Ive complained to Quidc0 about some cashback taking over 7 months and they've confirmed it and I've now got £20 winging its way to my bank account.
Thats about all from me. Hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Ooh ear infections are just horrible poor thing!
Good news on Quidc* paying up, eventually :T
