  • Oh no twinmum I cant believe you dont like baked beans, I absolutely love them! Theyve got to be Heinz in our house though!!!

Hello mummy, have you tried their own brand b. beans? They say there is not a lot of difference in taste ? I think there is a good saving to be made. If not keen on one supermarket then maybe another one worth trying? (I expect you have tried this by now as this is a quote from one of your early diary entries.)
;) Borrow money from pessimists- they don't expect it back. ;)
  • Afternoon PLMBL and Mister Oxo,

PLMBL, luckily the tree festival was indoors otherwise I wouldn't have gone! We paid £1 for the programme which goes to charity and the girls got to see Santa for £1 each so not too bad. We found the girls decorations that they made for their school tree and DD1 made one at cubs too.

Mister Oxo, we have tried them but DH always complained! So its either heinz or branstons nowadays which ever is cheapest as theres always one of them on offer.

So its turned out a spendy day. DH and DD2 went to the swimming lesson whilst me and DD1 went to next. Ended up buying the girls some waterproof gloves weve been meaning to buy for a while and also 2 decorations!!! Also then my petrol light came on and since DH is using my car to go on a boys shopping trip this week I thought id best fill it up! £44 for the pleasure.

DH is out with the dog and then he's going to get on with the tea as were all quite hungry.

Hoping for NSD10 tomorrow :D xx

    Afternoon Diary,

Just a quick post today as I'm expected Mr T's anytime. Ive been suffering with an awful headache since yesterday, its just about going now but I can feel it in my neck and shoulders. Hope thats it after tonight as its made me feel awful.

Yesterday was DH's payday, its amazing how fast the money leaves though isn't it!!

Yesterday ended up being a spend day as I need potatoes to go with the tea which was braising steak so a small spend in the local coop. I had 9 NSD in November so I'm quite chuffed with that. Lets hope December can be as good!

I had £23.05 paid from Quidc0 so left £20 in the account towards our Christmas eve spend and transferred £3.05 to the CC.

Just done the meter readings, I dread doing them at this time of the year but needs must! £44.65 on gas and £53.15 in electric so now £83.91 in credit. The gas figure will shoot up in December as we didn't properly have the heating on until Mid November and plus we are at home for 2 weeks of it! Ahhh well I'm not going to sit here freezing so no point in moaning really.

Cajun chicken, wedges and beans for tea, this is one of my fave teas! xx

    Evening Diary,

Im pleased to finally report my headache has gone! I could not get up this morning though, felt dreadful but perked up when I got to work.

So Mr T's were late last night and I'm actually quite cross about it. They turned up nearly 3 hours late and the reason they gave was the driver had been driving too long and my shopping was waiting at the store to be redelivered!!! I was not happy as they couldn't tell me how long it would be and also they would only offer me my delivery fee. Im going to take this up with them as I think its disgusting to be honest.

Today has been a smallish spend day, had my eyebrows waxed after I had to cancel last week with the kids being poorly. Feel loads better now!!!

Thats about all from me. Hope all ok xx

  • I would take it up with mr T, that's shocking - should at least give you a gesture of goodwill!

    Glad the head is better!

    Afternoon Diary,

Thats me finished work for the week as I have a day off tomorrow :j. Im so looking forward to it, can you tell :rotfl:!!

So I'm hoping to get my house spic and span tonight and then I can enjoy my day tomorrow. DH has also taken the day off which is a rare day together with no kids!!! We are going to finish the Christmas shopping.

DH isn't here this evening he's gone on a boys shopping trip!! He's taken my car and I hope he's driving it sensibly :rotfl:. This makes me happy as I can get away with an easy tea for me and the girls.

Right thats all, going to crack on now whilst I can be bothered then its the usual reading and bathing kids. Hope all ok xx

Ive been very busy in the past 3.5 hours! Cleaned the bathrooms, hoovered and mopped. Polished and tidied! Fed the kids, bathed them and read with them. Finished off with the ironing and now I'm sat down and not moving!!!

    xx

  • Hi mtg,

I'm glad your headache finally went, hope it's stayed away too.

3 hours late by Mr T is outrageous I would definitely make further complaint, what if yoy had to be somewhere else by then, that's the whole point of choosing your delivery. Did you get any messages before they turned up?

Hope you're having a good long weekend.

    Evening Diary,

Just managing to have enough time for a catch up! I worked all day yesterday on the school Christmas fayre and was shattered last night and fell asleep about 7.30pm! Was wide awake at 12 and then slept through 1-6.30!

Chrysalis, finally they got back to me with a goodwill voucher yesterday, still only £5 but I couldn't really be bothered to argue with them.

So weve been up early to a birthday party for the kids today. Popped to Mr S on the way back from swimming and spent £16 on various items. Then Mr M's brought my shopping. Had a bit more agro with them as I wanted to use my match and more points but there had been an IT glitch and my points never came to my inbox. Finally got that sorted today after my ordered had been processed !!!!!!!!!! The whole point of me ordering from there was because I had almost £20 off a shop. Ahh well never mind nothing that can be done now.

On Friday DH and I went and finished off the kids Christmas presents. They're all done now. Literally just a few presents to buy now and they'll come from online or the supermarket!

Cant believe its back to work tomorrow , only 10 more days to work anyway :j xx
