    Hi Mummytogirls

Glad you had a better nights sleep. We had a lovely evening apart from DH starting with his flu but it didn't seem to stop him eating his takeaway.

You're doing so well with what you have repaid so far. Can you arrange a small treat for you all at some point? It doesn't have to be expensive but just something for you to look forward to.
I don't know if you have a Vue cinema near you but they do a Kids AM club every Saturday and Sunday morning, they show kids films that have come to the end of their showings at the cinema but it only costs 95p each to go. I always buy a drink and sweets from the local shop and its a good cheap treat morning.

I am also going to start using my Tesco clubcard vouchers for myself and DH to go out for a meal occasionally as well. We'll get the bus into town, have a few drinks and meal and it won't cost the earth! Debt busting seems to have taken over my life but I have also realised that we all need small treats as well xxx

    Evening ladies,

yeah your all right I was just having a wobble!!!
Not that im wishing time away but I am looking forward to the nicer weather coming when we can do picnics in the park etc! Everything in winter seems to cost money!

Choogirl, we are going to have a treat once a month, we went out on Boxing day so counted that as our December treat. Its DH's birthday in a few weeks so ive said if I get a payout on my opinion world il take us to the cinema, just feels soooo far away!
We do have a cinema that does the cheap mornings but DD2 is only nearly 2 and I dont think she would sit through it all.
We do need treats, but I feel there too far between haha!!!

Spent 87p on potatoes today which I didnt think was bad! Put the 3p change in my sealed pot.

Jobs for tomorrow, providing places are back open is...

    - Go shopping

    - Ring EON re changing gas and elec to them, weve done the Uswitch thing using our actual usage and apparently we could save over £200 a year.

    - Ring BT to find out when our fixed in thing with the broadband ends. We are hoping to change to sky and save £20 a month by having it all in one place.

    - Ive also got a lovely basket of ironing with my name on it!!!

Oh did the meter readings today, my god in 9 days we have used £44!!! Its gone up immensely with us all being here and what not. Can you imagine what it would have been if id been using my dryer too.

Think thats all from me x

Morning diary! Nothing too much to report in the 12 hours since I last posted!

I am not sleeping very well at the moment and im not sure why. Im wondering if its got something to do with work next week and finding out more about the redundancy situation. Im not brooding over it but I just keep waking up in the night which is very unlike me.

Going to check bank accounts then best get on with my to do list!

Hi Fizzypops, have you managed to do it? I always do mine in front of the TV anyway!!

Ive done mine you will be pleased to know, havent done any ringing round yet, will prob save that for tomorrow.

Well weve just been on a 2hr shopping spree! We went to home bargains, Aldi & Morrisons. Home bargains was fab and Aldi im really not sure about. I did think some of the things were cheap, but then we went to Morrisons and found them cheaper .
So I think my plan is to do home bargains once a month for all the washing powder, dishwasher tablets etc and then the local Farmshop ideally or Morrisons once a week. Ive got a budget of hopefully £50 a week and we spent £49.26 so just within budget :T.

Going to my mums for tea which will be nice as it saves tonights tea for tomorrow. Ive just made it as id defrosted the mince so we will reheat the bolognaise tomorrow. Also hoping to make a pasta bolognaise bake out of it too!

Think thats it from me anyway. Catch up tomorrow probably x

i have done my ironing now too. :j

finished watching eastenders whilst doing it.

i think im going to follow your advice and shop around for washing powder etc as i hate paying full price for washing powder as it seems so expensive  im only going to buy it when it is on offer. :D

hope you have a nice time at your mums.
