hello...feeling a bit perkier thanks but still tired, just waiting for kids to switch their lights off then i'm off to bed (by 9.30 OMG!)

on the bright side can do my belt up a notch tighter today...lol
and the lack of food consumed in this house the last two days is a positive too!

glad things seem better for you too and you two.... :)

  • Morning diary!

Pennywise, I am feeling much brighter thank you.

Pink, glad your on the mend and good news on the belt front too ha! That would be a good think for me anyway!

Well ive not got anything of particular interest to report. Had 2 NSD's Tues & Weds but today I think we need some milk so will need to get that. So a SSD (small spend day!).

DH going to help me ring round the CC companies today to see if there is anything they can do to help.

    Think thats all x x

  • Evening diary!

A busy little day at mummytogirls house!

DH and I have been busy ringing round and managed to get some charges and interest knocked off various cards.

Ended up going to Morrisons as weve got a busy weekend and the cupboards were bare! Spent £51 but then used the £25 voucher ive been collecting my receipts for. Managed to get a whole trolley full of shopping for £26, not bad at all :T. Hopefully we will just need to pop out for a few bits next week but im hoping not to go shopping again now until Monday 27th.

All the presents are wrapped here and cards written. Now we can just sit back and enjoy the big day!!

    Hope everyones ok x x

    wow £26 thats fab!

i'm hoping hubby will bring in some nice goodies from his works next week to save us a few bob, they're usually quite generous and give us a turkey and a ham at least so fingers crossed!

with everyone being poorly my cupboards are still overflowing with food but once they break up from school that wont last long.

went back to work today which was exhausting....thought i'll have a nice nap once we're all in from school. but instead found a voicemail from the school on my phone and a child with a broken finger, so have spent evening at local clinic getting it xrayed. poor lamb had to live with it since lunchtime because she forgot i was at work and they didnt think to phone around...sigh!

you sound so much more positive about it all mummy!

  • Oh no to your poor babies finger Pink, thats awful. I cant believe they didnt think to ring work, or someone else. My DD's school have got mine and DH's work and mobiles numbers and our parents numbers too!! Mind you theyve never had to call me yet, so that might mean absolutely nothing!

Yay to DH's work being very generous, that must save a bit! My DH usually comes home with a bottle of whisky and a few bottles of wine. Better than nothing I suppose. We dont get anything at mine :(.

I cant believe we managed the Christmas shop for £26 either! A £25 voucher every week would be just lovely. I reckon £10 on fresh stuff next week should do us.

Hope you managed to get an early night and feel refreshed today! x

  • Afternoon diary! Well woke up to lots of snow this morning. I was really surprised as I didnt know more was on the way!!
Had a lovely morning sledging though followed by hot chocolates all round :D.
Should be a NSD today as we wont be leaving the house with it being like this. Tomorrow should be too as it will probably be icey as hell tomorrow.

Well yesterday I decided to ring up one of the CC companies to ask for help in either reducing my monthly payment or reduce my int rate. They went through income and expenditure and basically said no the best option for me is to ring CCCS. Im not going to do this as I know a few tight months and we will be back on track. It just makes me so cross that im ringing them for a bit help before ive defaulted and they cant seem to do anything . Nevermind, it was worth a try.

    Catch up soon x

  • Morning diary!

Well today is NSD6 of the month. Need some teabags but they can wait until tomorrow now im not going out in this weather its freezing!

Just called up O2 and reduced my package with them even further. Im on pay as you go anyway and they seem to give the best deals for £10 a month. This way I can still keep intouch with everyone.

Kids were up early so ive got all my filing which ive been ignoring for about 6 months done! Didnt take that long once id separated into filing and shreding piles!

Think thats all from me x

  • Morning diary,

Very cold here today someone at work just told me its -10! Anyway, today was a spend day as weve put £20 petrol in the car. So thats about £20 a week were using and hopefully with us being off work over Christmas we might save a bit more.

Got my wage slip and a very nice surprise of £20 extra, every little helps!

Will be doing more debt busting tomorrow when I get paid and then will update my signature to reflect it.

Just going to update my survey positions!
