  • Evening Diary,

Just sat down... phew!! I just hear DH shutting the garage door, ridiculous time to be poling up home especially since the kids will be in bed by 7.30 .

Nothing much to report money wise, 8 days nearly til payday :T. Oh actually I do have something to report! My cashback has finally been confirmed so will be getting £45 on the next payment run. Its already ear marked for the Christmas panto but at least thats half the money found for it.

Just need to put a load of washing in this evening which will be TD'd as its forecast rain tomorrow... surprise surprise!!

Oh I dropped the ironing off and got my money. Ive put that in a special tin which is named Ibiza tin as im off there for a hen do next year!! I need a new passport so will save in there for that.
Ive also got £76 in my camping/holiday fund :j.

Think thats all from me! Catch up soon xx

    Hi Mummy

Hope you're not too exhausted from working full time.

I have a tin as well and I put all my spare change etc in and it soon builds up.

    Take care xxxx
  • Wow mummy you are so busy, hope you are keeping well.
    The Ibiza holiday sounds fun!!
  • Morning Diary,

Up and ready bright and early this morning thanks to DD2 bouncing in to our room at 6.30am! Ive even managed to iron the few bits in my basket and write this weeks shopping list!! Id rather have extra half an hour in bed mind!!

Hi Choo, nice to 'see' you! Im ok working full time, just not budging off the settee on an evening!

Hi Pennywise, im looking forward to Ibiza, the hen is booking it next week after weve all been paid. Will pay £30 out of my 'spending money' until June so not bad at all. Im planning on saving my ironing money and perhaps an extra £20 a month should cover spending money. DH said he thinks were too old to go to Ibiza  I think hes just jealous :rotfl:!!!

So ive £35 left to spend between now and next Wednesday. Need to pick up a present for a party DD1 is going to on Saturday. Will get this for as cheap as possible. Then probably £20 on the food bits that we need before then.
I do have extra bits of money here and there which I am not going to dip into to.

OMG did anyone watch that 999 programme on C4 last night? Absolutely shocking, I really want my kids to realise how lucky they are!!

Right best get on! Hope everyones ok xx

  • I went to Ibiza about 2 years ago for a hen weekend - the hen was in her mid 30's, and the rest of us ranged from19 upto 45 - it was absolutely brilliant.

Where abouts are you going to stay?

To be honest it was the older ones in the group who were the naughtiest :rotfl:

    Hope you all have fun
  • Hi mummy, hope you've not too frazzled this week. Enjoy the weekend, not tooooo long 'til payday. :)

  • Morning Diary,

Just back from DD's swimming lesson so having a cuppa and a catch up! Really not getting anytime to post lately and I cant see that changing! Managing to keep everything ticking over now DH is back in his job as cleaner :rotfl:!!
It is soooo chilly here, all my skin is drying out with the cold! I ended up caving in and putting the heating on Friday night as I was so cold. I think it was because I was so tired I felt it more. Havent had it on since, but it carries on like this, can see it being turned on for a couple of hours either end of the day.

Nothing to report moneywise, payday Wednesday though yippee!!

I forgot to tell you we won a bike for DD1 on ebay for 99p!! DH has just gone to pick it up. It looks in really good condition on the photo except for a crack on the chain guard which can be taken off and replaced. Looks like she is having an expensive party so this makes me feel better about paying 99p for a present for her birthday!!

Re Ibiza I think we are staying at Ibiza R0cks hotel. If we book before end Sept we get an upgrade to a pool view which means if theres entertainment on we can watch from our balcony.
Not going until next September so it gives me long enough to save up.

Just put some washing out which I am not convinced will dry but even if then I only have to TD it for 30 mins its all a saving!

Got a date with the iron in a minute! Did some before DD's swimming lesson so not much to do now.

Then were having beef stew for tea and ive got a blackberry crumble out of the freezer which I made the other week for pudding.

Back to work tomorrow..... booooooooo!!! Hope everyones ok xx

  • Morning Diary,

What a grim day! I still have this flipping cold which I have had since end of August, does anyone has any secret remedy to get rid of it?! Slept through the night but woke up at 5.20am with a blocked nose and dry throat and couldnt get back to sleep. Also woke DH up with my sneezing etc !
Feeling ok at the mo, will probably be asleep on my desk later!

So yesterday I got all my jobs done and even got a load line dried!
Last night it was a bit chilly again so we put the heating on for the kids getting out of the bath etc. It felt a bit chilly this morning and I felt like putting it on for an hour, but I resisted and we all put dressing gowns on!
It cant be that cold if I was walking around putting washing away in my leggings and vest top before I put my dress on!

Ive already made a bolognaise for tonights tea so just need to boil up the spaghetti for that.

Think thats about all from me, just need to get the kids to school and myself to work now. Hope everyones ok xx

  • Hi Mummy,

Aw fab bargain with the bike. Parties are so expensive aren't they? We couldn't invite everyone to the soft play party so I did a tea party at home too. I went to Mr Al's for the food and bought a Hello Kitty cake...£100!!! Never again will I do a party at home.

I line dried my bedding and DD's uniform yesterday, it was a bit nippy but they were dry when I brought them in. I dont have a td now so needs must!

Have you bought your vitamins yet? They might stop you getting colds. :o)
