It could do with more shaving off though, but im still buying nappies, wipes etc so im hoping once that stops I might see more of a saving.

  • Hello diary, sorry youve fallen by the wayside a bit recently! Nothing too much to report in but I am so sick of spending money! Just cant seem to avoid it at the mo.

Found out at the weekend I need 2 new front tyres for my car . DH said he needs brake pads for his ! Feels never ending.

Still plugging away at the surveys and ebaying but everything just feels slow at the mo.
Plus the weather being sooooo cold makes me miserable at the best of times :(. Put the heating on for the first time yesterday cos my nose & feet were freezing!! Im sure using the slow cooker instead of the oven makes a diff too cos that doesnt pump out heat like the oven would.

Anyway, heres to hearty meals haha!!! Catch up soon x

  • to needing new tyres and brake pads, i hate cars they cost so much to run.

Surveys feel really slow at the minute, just seems to take for ever to get to pay out.
  • Afternoon diary, thought id pop by on this dreary Wednesday afternoon .

Well today is NSD 9 which is an actual record for me. Hoping tomorrow will be too, making it 10!
Had a free delivery coupon for Asda so thought id make the most of it.

Finally received my £10 Amazon voucher from Ipsos and I think I will put it towards a DVD for the girls but will save it for a present I think. No point in giving them something for nothing theyve got enough as it is.

Pennywise, had a quote from kwikfit for their cheapest tyres which came in at £103! So going to have a wander down the road one lunchtime to a back street tyre place near work so if they can do it cheaper as im sure they can. It like a mid-range tyre if I can.

Anyhow best get on! Hope everyones ok x

  • Forgot to add earlier, ive been ebaying quite a few of the girls old stuff in the past few weeks. Made about £15 which wasnt bad. They were desparately in need of a few bits DD1 is nearly outgrowing her trousers and DD2 needed a bigger coat. So ive used the money in my paypal to buy them a few things off ebay. Im really proud of myself cos usually I wouldnt have thought twice of spending £50 in Tescos on these items. In effect these havent really cost anything as ive bought them using money I earned from selling!!

Majority of the things I won on ebay were Next too which cant be bad!! x
