Morning Diary,
Just popping in for my daily catch up.
Well yesterday turned into a very spendy day indeed! I knew it would be a spend day as I needed eggs and milk from the coop anyway. Then we went up to the local jubilee party thing and spent £30 . So I now have about £13 left in my grocery budget for the month. Theres plenty in the joint account so will need to take from there, just cant believe how much we spent on a few kids rides etc!
Today will definately be a NSD, no 2.
The weather is a bit cloudy today with rain forecast for this afternoon... boooo!
HM chicken goujons, wedges and salad for tea.. yum!
Think thats about all from me! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Evening Diary,
Today was definately NSD2 woohoo! Heres to many more .
Well today has been pretty boring, done a bit of ironing, flaked around a bit, had a shower and painted my toenails! That about sums up my day.
Tomorrow we are taking the kids on a train and to a local museum. I also have an interview with a job agency, might aswell let them do some of the work for me hadnt I?! So we will be up and out early tomorrow, taking our lunch/picnic with us to save on the spending!
This evening I have applied for 5 jobs on the reed site, so fingers crossed.

Morning Diary,
Had such a busy day yesterday I didnt manage to get on!
Had a lovely day yesterday and only spent £14 which I dont consider bad for a day out. I had the train tickets through work anyway so that didnt cost. The musuems were free so that didnt cost.
We took our picnic which the kids really enjoyed too. Spent £6 on icecreams and £8 on McD's for DH and kids whilst I went for my meeting.
We took DD for her eyes testing before we set off and I popped into Mr M's and spent £9 on washing powder and juice. They have a 50 wash box of p*rsil for £5.75 at the moment which is fantastic value.
In the past ive been buying cheaper washing powder and it hasnt been getting the clothes clean at all so fingers crossed with this.
Well my meeting with the agency went ok but I felt a bit disappointed but on the same token glad the guy was honest with me. He basically said that there is a stigma attached to not for profit orgs employees and private sector discount us because of this! I said but I have worked for private sector also just 7 years ago but he said theres people out there with private sector further up their CV and they would choose them over me! Plus I am on quite a good salary for part time work and he had thought my salary was pro rata and wouldnt be able to get me anything like this level. I knew this but said I wouldnt jump out of my current job into a job paying £2k less just yet unless I was pushed!
So weve parked the situation as it is until I know more with my job.
If ive been made redundant id quite happily take a job paying less but not just yet especially as id be losing out on £2k redundancy pay aswell!!
Then last night I went to my friends house. Her nan had cooked us a curry and I took wine from the fridge and picked up some extras from the indian down the road! It was lovely to have a catch up and cost me £4 for a night out... not bad!
Today the weather is raining and ive got 2 loads of washing to get dry! Im going to put one load in the drier for now and see about putting the heating on later on, if not that will go in the drier too.
Sausage, mash and veg for tea yum! Will need to go food shopping tomorrow, we are running low on veg, fruit and milk.
Dont think ive anything else to report! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Glad to hear you had a good day out. Thats a good buy on the soap powder, I have found that buying 'cheap' washing powder is false economy.
I can see your point re your job, hope things get sorted soon. xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Hi Alice,
I agree re the cheaper washing powder. Although I find p*rsil a bit overpowering with the smell!
Well ive ended up in Mr T's today. We needed milk so thought id get it done today and then its done. Spent £35 so not too bad at all, that included a new swimming costume for DD1.
Ive also done my ironing, just need to put it away now.
Think thats all from me! 25 points away from an op world payout :j, sods law im getting screened out left, right and centre isnt it!

Morning Diary,
Just had a lovely lie in, thanks DH!! Even though the weather is rubbish my eyes are really suffering and are watering like mad... sore isnt the word! Might have to go buy some drops as its awful when you cant stop scratching.
So today wont be a NSD, story of my life at the moment!
Ive booked in for my hair washing and blow drying at the salon where I had it cut in March. Theyve got a half price offer on which should make it £5 so ive been cheeky and asked to have my fringe cut aswell, which will refresh my hair but saving me £20 :money:. That will save me having to get it cut for another 6 weeks or so.
DD2 has got her pre-school injections this afternoon.. I feel sick at the thought. DH will take her but I hate them having these done, especially since she is blissfully unaware playing at the moment .
Right off to Op World.. see if I can get to my 1000 points! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning mummy, wow thats a bargain haircut, have fun.
Poor DD, I used to hate having to take my two.0 -
My eyes are the same!! Hurts lots at the moe
Hope you can find some good drops.
Enjoy your bargain hair cut and hope dd is ok after her jabs (This has reminded me I think ive missed DS2s appointment!! opps) xGC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0
