Hi mummy.
Well done on switching in the supermarket, i've changed to quite a few things that are supermarket own and can't taste the different or have found i like things more, only thing i can't compromise on is tea and icecream, well icecream for me, i know its really naughty and the kiddies are quite happy to eat tesco own neapolitan ice cream but i have to have Ben and jerrys, i am good and only buy it when its on offer.0 -
Hi Mummy2Girls
My dd is 7 and gorgeous. I like to think she hasn't "suffered" by cutting back. She has a bike, her trampoline both of which have been my two biggest investments for her enjoyment at home, she loves colouring and drawing, singing and dancing. Im very blessed in that I have a friend who has a 10 year old dd and she has given me and continues to give me all the clothes her dd grows out of! Dd realises when she needs to work with me (Im s/employed) that is just the way it is. We are doing ok in general I think! My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
May 2013 £124,080.27= £37,903.50 paid off WOW!!!!! Well done! There is a guardian angel out there! :AI'm visualising success, debt freeness, and happy days!:T0 -
Evening followers
!
Pennywise, i am so with you on the tea, it has got to be tetleys in this house! But I do to homebargains and get a box of 100 for 99p, better than 40 for over £1 in the supermarkets!
Re the ice-cream it doesnt bother me, we used to get walls soft scoop, but Sainsburys own is just as good.
Positive & focused, your DD sounds like a real sweetheart. Makes like so much easier when they are on side doesnt it!
Ikwym re the kids not missing out, were the same with our girls. They are both lovely but a bit of a handful at times!
Well I started reading your diary earlier, and had a real lump in my throat after post #1! You are such an inspiration with everything you have been through, I really take my hat off to you. Its hard enough bringing children up without all the other stuff youve dealt with :T. You are doing a fab job, but hopefully you know that already.
Well im starting to panic about August expenditure! Weve got soooo much to pay out that im worried we wont have enough money for food. I really need the £100 to be paid out from A&L & could do with the £40 from quidco too. That would tide me over through a tough month.
Feel a bit cheeky rang sky this afternoon as id read on 2 other peoples posts that they had got their sky half price for 6 months. Thought id give it a go and ive managed to get my sky half price ie £9.50 until January next year! We only have the family package (£18) plus the kids package for an extra £ as it is!! Oh well I will be hard up so I wasnt exactly lieing when I said I could afford it was I :rotfl:!!! So thats £9.50 towards August shopping bill!!

Morning diary, well I finally got to 1000 points on Saturday with Opinion world so I transferred that into the bank account from paypal which should be in Wednesday.
It really didnt take me that long to get to 1000 so will keep up with those ones. Not a lot of emails from the weekend though.
Managed another NSD Friday which made it 2 last week, would have been Thursday too but we had a work meal arranged which I had forgotten about.
Saturday we took the girls swimming, might aswell make the most of it whilst theyre free! They really enjoyed it so it was £8 well spent.
Payday next Monday, im counting down the days although im not sure why because it will be a very tight month.
Anyway, hopefully (dont want to be wishing time away) but I really want to get to Sept as it should be a better month.Mummytogirls x0 -

Morning pennywise, the surveys are very slow at the mo for me too. Hopefully it wont be too long before you can redeem with opinion world.
Well what to report? It was a spend day yesterday, the girls both needed some pumps so I popped to Mothercare as they had some on buy one get one half price. They were really lovely and fit well too. I always usually go to Clarks but just cant afford at the mo, and as long as theyre not tight around the sides thats good enough for me.
My next trip to Clarks will be in Sept for DD1's school shoes and then il get DD2 a new pair of leather shoes ready for winter. That will be an expensive trip I feel!
Dont think theres anything else to report. Happy Tuesday!!Mummytogirls x0 -
Oh I remember now what I forgot to report! Arrived home yesterday to find a sample of Pantene Aqua light id requested through supersavvyme. Tried it in the shower this morning and it is lovely

I got some of that shampoo as well, have put it into my weekend away bag, so not used it yet. Did you order the freebie bag from supersavvy, as i've not got mine yet and was wondering if they had been sent out.0
