Don't pick someone on quidco just on the basis of the best cashback as this is only a one off payment. Pick the cheapest supplier based on your actual consumption and then if you can use quidco use it as a bonus.
From comments on here nPower are not very good
Spot on.
It might be that nPower can offer a "better deal" because they charge more in the first place.
For me, EON were cheapest using uswitch. So I cleared my cookies and used quidco.0 -
I'm currently doing the same switch that you're considering (SE -> EON) and I'd say go for it. The EON deal is probably the best out there, and you're only committed for a year - so even if price changes did mean that a better deal became available in a few months' time (unlikely IMO), you wouldn't lose out greatly before you could think about switching again.0

Thank you Seamonster, smk77 and Duggo1.
N Power were offering an OK deal but i think i will stick to Eon. Fingers crossed the deal is till there tomorrow when i take the plunge.0 -
You could also check out the cashback rates on Topcashback. They are very good - I tend to use them over Quidco these days as Topcashback don't charge a £5 annual admin fee.0

Looby loo, we have just applied to switch from SE to Eon. Just hope the savings are real, but it is only a 1 year contract if they are not. Ditched the standard rate for fixonline 6 plan. E mail bills are fine by me.
