omg I put in some made up links in my post for toot thinking they wouldn't show as links without me connecting them with the links widget but they did and when I clicked on one it was an actual site and not a nice one at that so sorry anyone who did the same. I have changed it and broken the links now.

Evening girlies (and boys!) how are we all tonight?

I have a surprise evening to myself as the kids are stopping at their Dad's tonight for a change ~ yay ~ and since my D.I.V.O.R.C.E is official as of yesterday, I'm going to open a bottle and chill in a mini celebration! :j Should really be doing something productive but hey, my grin is too big to do anything sensible anyway!!

Crafty theres a couple of things you could do.
one is turn your webs store into one with a custom domain. sure you would be able to use the domain you've bought with 1 and 1. but I think webs still charge you as using more than a basic service.
You could build a site with 1 and 1 but if you want a shopping cart you will need more than their basic service too so will get charged.
Or you could keep the webs domain but point the domain you have bought to it so that when people type in they get immediately sent to your site but when they look in the web address bar at the top they would see com.
This option would be free and you could set up email for the domain for about 69p/ month with 1 and 1.
This is exactly what we did for my nephew's dog walking business.
But I'm not sure how it would work with seo and you still get the ads on the site cos its free.
If you type in www.lancaster-pet-heroes.com and then look at the url when you get to the site you'll see what I mean.
sure Dilli or munchki will know more than me.

I know you're not here CALLY but I just wanted to send love and hugs to you and your OH - if you need anything, please don't be afraid to ask.

What about the RSPSP - Royal Society for the Protection of Sock Pets!! They sound great Yukki, can't wait to see them!

Glad you've found a tipple Paula, even if it is non-alcoholic! I just realised I haven't eaten yet, so stuck the oven on to prevent any drunken dribbling later!

    That's the one!! It's a brilliant idea!

I started building a website with Webs, and I can't figure out how to have my domain name linked to it. Do I have to transfer the domain hosting to Webs? Or would it just be easier to build a website with the current host? The current one hasn't got very far (!) so it won't matter if I have to abandon it, and it was the free one. Cos I only just got the domain names through 1&1 and I don't really want to go messing about changing it all again! Anyone have any clue?
