  • I'm so sorry sweetie, such a difficult time. There's always so much to think about when someone passes, it's sounds like it's going to be a fraught time for you, huge hugs and you know we're always here for you. Taking 6 months to process a new deputy is utterly ridiculous, I think this world has gone wrong in a lot of places. As for eBay, they're just being bl00dy minded if you ask me. I mean, surely it doesn't matter to them a jot? You're still using them! Grrr lol, frustrated on your behalf.

  • God I am so bored. I have nothing to say, or add to the conversation, but still feel the need to post this message.

    I should be sorting out the car boot stuff, but it all seems too much. I might just go with the tried and tested bung it in the car at 5am in the dark method and see what treasures I have when I properly wake up at 7am in a muddy field. That way its a surprise to me too !

    Gonna aim for £80 takings tomorrow. If anyone turns up in the rain. Might be lucky to make £8.

  • Lol MMTWGR, if it works for you, just chuck it in the car with your eyes half closed (as mine certainly would be at that forsaken hour of the day!) and go with the flow! I haven't been to a car booty for while, although there's a regular Sunday one not far from here. Hmm, wonder if I should get my act together tomorrow and take a look-see. Not at 5am though :rotfl:

  • Well I have kids and suffer from memory loss ( not medical, just stupidity) so if I bung stuff in at 5am, I might make it out the drive by 6.30 if I'm lucky.

    How do I make ebay watchers buy stuff?

  • I think having kids = memory loss. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

    Honestly I do not know the answer to that question, I get watchers and then nothing happens, always makes me wonder if the timing of the auction finish was difficult for folk?

  • All mine are buy it nows ! They are all immediate payment needed though so I do wonder if people watch it until they have money available. Just the sales never seem to match the watchers. I did put a bed on auction and it had 40 watchers. It never even got the starting bid ! Why ? Stupid ebayers.

    Goodnight folk :) wine has defeated me, bedtime for me - I'm going caving tomorrow :eek: so if you never hear from me again, that's why. Can't say i'm looking forward to it but hey ho ;) I do get myself into these muddles :D
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.
  • Watching on BIN's??? What's the point!! I feel for you, I do!

    I need to get a few more bits on eBay, although I've got listing just now and so far not looking too promising, but I can't really complain so far, so I won't!

    My kitty is shouting at me, think she wants snuggles and can't get in for the laptop!

    My OH tried to tempt me with a big mac but I managed to abstain, thinks he likes me fat
