What the heck Paula, open a bottle and celebrate with me virtually!!! I know all about your fan page, I'm a fan!!! :T:T

Woohoo! Was going to say I can't, we have no wine, but we do have (for some reason) some non-alcoholic Buck's Fizz, which I just feel like drinking. So here's to us lol! :T (it's lucky I don't have alcohol in, been up since 3am, wouldn't make it up the stairs!)

Have no idea what getting a divorce through must feel like but glad you feel so positive about it :j xx

    Ooh, it's quite nice actually!
Yukki that's a fab idea and you could have a blog too, and socky pet adventures (and maybe stories of where they came from?) - The Sock Pound? Sockadoption? Oh God, I just Googled animal rescue centres to get ideas and now I want to adopt lots of old collies...

    woohoo joey and toots, congrats...

I have a question for all your lovely people tonight. My new venture is sock pets. I'll post pics tomorrow for anyone not knowing what they are, but basically pets made from socks(all new).

I'm stuck on a name. I have an idea that NO_ONE else is doing on folksy / etsy / misi etc at the mo, so the potential is there from designs that will be unique to me, so feeling good about that.

I'm stuck on a name. I wanted it to be something like sock pet sanctuary, but that's taken on folksy, and want it to be a kind of adoption centre when peeps buy them if that makes sense. If anyone has any ideas it would be great.

What about the RSPSP - Royal Society for the Protection of Sock Pets!! They sound great Yukki, can't wait to see them!

Glad you've found a tipple Paula, even if it is non-alcoholic! I just realised I haven't eaten yet, so stuck the oven on to prevent any drunken dribbling later!

thanks for all your suggestions guys, I have written them all down and will have a think. Yes would have a blog with tales of the pets etc. I think they will all come with a name / birth certficate blah blah not sure yet need to work on the ideas and designs.
  • I can't remember who it was (and I should check to see if I bookmarked it) but someone posted a link to a site where the little soft toy creature went travelling with it's maker, and it was like a blog of where it had been and what it had been up to, as well as it's cousins around the world and their new homes. Was brilliant, you could do something like that Yukki, it appealed to my inner child!

  • That's the one!! It's a brilliant idea!

I started building a website with Webs, and I can't figure out how to have my domain name linked to it. Do I have to transfer the domain hosting to Webs? Or would it just be easier to build a website with the current host? The current one hasn't got very far (!) so it won't matter if I have to abandon it, and it was the free one. Cos I only just got the domain names through 1&1 and I don't really want to go messing about changing it all again! Anyone have any clue?
