Not sure. It wouldn't be a very creative one. but the girls in totoro both have bento boxes and my kids think they look cool. I would probably just get some cute little containers to go in them. my kids like lots of little bits to pick at but wouldn't need me to be creative. at least I don't think they would;)

Might have to look into doing a bento box for DD1 actually, she loves how delighted Mai is when her sister makes hers! Plus she always wants a packed lunch when she sees DS's :) have managed to do the wrong card for the Asda shop, now having to do the whole thing again from Tesco and it's coming between nine and eleven...great! Need food in for family coming up tomorrow!

Toots!!! I've got a favour to ask, do you think you'd be able to make this
    http://heavens-hellcat.livejournal.com/420.html?

-DD1 is going to be three next month and we've been considering getting her a plush Totoro as she LOVES the movie, but I'd much rather get something from someone on here than some random website I don't even know for goodness' sake :p and how much would something like that cost please?
    There are also these

-she seems to be selling the patterns on Etsy under another name, unless it's someone different. If you could do those I'd love some for DS or possibly OH :D

Wow, thank you so much for thinking of me Paula! I could absolutely do these, no problem whatsoever, they're all done amigurumi style which is exactly what I've been doing!! The Totoro is straight forward, was it the Star Wars ones you liked too, cos she has loads on her flickr, all sorts of different ones, has me quite inspired! The great thing (from my point of view) is that they are basically variations of the wee thing I finished off last night, so I know how to do it - in fact, I'll try to post a piccie of it as soon as I can and let you see. I'm at work all day, then off out tonight, then at work on Saturday (grump) but I'll try to get a photo uploaded shortly, then you just need to let me know if you're still interested haha!Anyway, if you let me know exactly what you want, I'll be happy to oblige. As for price, I have absolutely no clue, will have to think on it, but you'll obviously get dribblers discount and they can be my prototypes!!

Morning Paula - we love Totoro as well. Would love something like that for DD too. Have also seen some lovely totoro bento boxes on blogs but not found any still for sale except a couple of really ugly ones.

Until today, I'd never heard of Totoro (well, my kids are coming up for 18 and 14 respectively, so I guess they might be a bit old haha!) but I guess they're sort of the new Pokemon? Guess I'll have to read up! And I have no clue what a bento box is......

I think kids would love the bento box thing and, having seen Mai just heap in the food and never having seen the arty bento blogs, I don't think they would expect much artistically.

Toots - its a lovely anime film and thank goodness they are not the new pokemon. Its quite a strange film but very appealing and even more so as a child I think.
