  • Dont talk to me about paypal...there a law unto themselves
When I was on there help menu yesterday I seen what to do if Ive paid twice help
Have you had a look on it

The bit I read basically said they wouldn't do anything and I had to get the seller to refund, I sent off an email to Paypal and the reply (which was shockingly quick) said the same thing. If the seller won't put the refund through I have to set up a dispute thingy, it's stupid, they can quite blatently tell it was a mistake and should be able to sort it out straight away. I so hate my laptop sometimes!

I had to sort my issue out myself as well
They wont let myOH draw out his own money yet he can use it to buy things or send it to me...
If it were a bank they couldnt do that
The reason its like that is he sold a comp battery on ebay..the buyer complained it was wrong one..my OH a computer engineer checked and it was right
Ebay ruled buyer had to return and OH give him refund
The buyer gave a false tracking number and did not return item ,but ebay still expected him to refund...he refused so paypal wont let him draw funds, yet he can use the funds to buy goods or services ...does that make sence
Needless to say he hates ebay and paypal and says there crooks
Good luck with your issue and Im sure the seller will refund

Similar thing happened to my Dad last week, he had to refund, didn't get the item back AND eBay have supposedly 'limited' his account but it won't let him list anything at all even though he is still within their limits, makes no sense sometimes.

yummymummy20 & evenstarcrafty = try posting on the ebay board for their advice on the problems, it may be that it takes a couple more phone calls but i believe perserverance is the key and you will get everything sorted in your favour, they may know who to email as well

Arrrggghh Just had a letter from parcelforce-the moonstone I ordered from Hong Kong is being held at their depot coz I have to pay a £30 customs charge. Bloody marvellous-my fault though didnt take that into account. Still is cheaper than getting from UK as long as its ok...it better be after all this!
