  • Morning everyone!

Cally - must have had a lot on your mind last night when you went to bed, sorry you had such a carp night x

Saucy - see you have a new notebook up, yay! Hopefully postman will bring you a pressie today to make you feel better!

Paula - I think "bl00dy mothers, p1ss me right off" is perfect, don't know why I didn't think of it, she says it enough! Can't wait, don't think I am going to be able to wait for her birthday! Just hope her mum doesn't see it, we have been friends since we were 3 so her mum will have not hesitation it phoning me and telling me off! It's perfect! Let me know when its up and I will pay for it!

As for me, well, yestreday was quite a day, the computer started flashing at me in the morning, then told me I needed to plug it in to charge, but it was plugged in, tried everything and it just died. Told OH and we ended up going to the industrial estate last night to get a replacement, he wanted a £700 one, I threw a major wobbly about not needing to spend so much money and went over to Lidl to get some bits because I didn't want to see him spend so much, came back and in his hand was a cheaper model, and in the other hand, was another one! He had gone without the one he wanted so I could have my own for my business bits, and he even got it with a proper keypad on it for ISBN listings, he was being really thoughtful! Needless to say, being a OH, he never is, well, you could have knocked me over with a feather! So, I have my very own puter now, with a keypad, and all its keys still on it (going to have to hide it from DD1 if I want it stay that way!) but YAY!

Downside, I lost the 30+ things I had stored on Turbolister and all my programs, upside, all the photos are backed up, just need to suss out how to get it to charge now, then can wipe everything and sell for repairs, unless someone knows what the hell happened!

So, for today, I have to redo a load of listings, pay for manequinn, cos I really need it, can only find a few pics on internet of the clothes, shame because I didn't want to open the bags, but hey, then tidy the kitchen, cats were scrapping last night and scattered everything! I swear ben is going to loose his testicales if he carries on bullying sausages. Oh, also have to start weaning and poo training the kittens so they can go in a few weeks.

    Morning all,

    Happy St. Patricks Day

Just had a quick catch up on the posts.
Babymoo - £100 up, well done.
Jo - good luck with the interview
Sheloves - thanks for the packaging link but their store is closed on ebay. Well done on getting the course for free - good luck with it.
Yukki - £11 win, it all counts. Well done.
    Saucy - love your logo.
MummyandP - Yay for the new computer.

So yesterday I was chasing my PPI back and have sent the first letter recorded delivery so let's hope it doesn't take to long to get there.

I've decided to face reality and get balances for all my debt.......
Hi my name is cagneuk and I am a debtaholic.
    Acceptance is the first step.
    Unsecured debt 1 £1,040
    Unsecured debt 2 £3,730
Secured debt £28,763.07 (of which I can pay back 95% without facing an ERC)
Mortgage - well, one step at a time.

It was DD's parent's evening at her nursery yesterday and her teacher said she is very polite, well mannered and a credit to us. Happy to share, avoids conflict, extremely creative, can recognise letters and starting to do with words, can count very well but still needs to work on a few things like grouping items into set numbers above 6 (ie 7 blocks or 8 toys) she also likes her own company and they are working on getting her to mix with others although she is never selfish. (no other young children in the family except her 6 month old brother so doesn't have a lot of time with children except at nursery)
All in all really proud of her considering she's just turned 4. Hopefully in a few years she can make things and I'll do the selling.
Would like to: Retire at 54. 19yrs .Clear mortgage by 50. 16yrs. Clear Secured debts by 43. 8yrs.Clear Unsecured debt by 39. 4yrs. Gain full control of my finances by 36. 1yr.Keep my head above water. Today.

    .
I think I might know what happened
Is it a laptop, same thing happened to mine...the pin where you plug the charger in is damaged and is not connecting properly
Depending on what make it is ,it can be sorted
Mine is a toshiba and OH says he can get a new part and sort it....he says HPs are a nightmare to fix with this prob as you need to solder it but you have to de solder first..then its touch and go how long it lasts
He was suprised at mine as it was different and you can buy a part to fix it..so not so bad
If your not interested in a fix and just want your data try wiggling the cable and see if you can get connection just enough to charge battery long enough to get stuff off
Failing that you can get someone to take hard drive out of machine and retrive data then transfer to new computer
If it wasnt a laptop you can still get data off hard drive
And start backing up on cd just in case,,,,I should practice what I preach....its on thre list of to do,s
