I havent had depression for a while now, but I know I am prone so I get so frustrated with myself when I can feel the blues coming, that I think I make it worse. I am my own worse critic.

I am lucky in that Prozac works for me, and no side effects or trouble coming off them. I have been on it everytime and no longer than a few months needed. Though last time I was diagnosed as depressed, I eventually found out I was pregnant and therefore hormonal changes and not really depression alone ! Doc said afterwards she should have done pregnancy test but they cost NHS a lot of money so decided against it ! I think it was rubbish excuse personally ! Surely Prozac costs more???

But I do know people who cant get off Prozac. So it isnt for everyone.

Right, enough talk about sad things.

I have 3 kids away for the night, one sleeping baby, a giant bed to myself and all the ingredients for a cooked brekkie in the morning. Bliss xxx

    Morning all!

Saucy - hope OH wasn't too late or too smelly!

MMTWGR - cooked breakie, yummy......could be tempted now lol!

Jo - hope DD, DS and DH all slept through and you managed to get some sleep too!

Blue sky here, so hopefully we will all have a nice day/weekend!!

  • Morning everyone! Morning Nixi, glad I am not the only one up so early of a weekend!

You lot don't know when you have a good thing, I would love OH to leave the toilet seat up, he never puts it up and ALWAYS misses and pees on the seat, no good in the middle of the night!

Depression groups suck, they are full of people that eiter won't talk to you or people that won't leave you alone. I am a 23 year old loner, but then I can pass the time of day with people but like you money, I won't go any further. Can't help thinking that if I did ask, I would either get refused, or they would only be doing it out of sympathy.

Evenstar - I have used Parcel Monkey, they don't have a phone number on their site, but do reply to emails really quickly, they use either CityLink or Home Delivery Notwork, dependant on the service booked. OH is clever though, he found their number on the tinternet, just incase, but never needed it. (I forgot they were coming to collect and went out, I missed them, but 1 email and they came back the next day). I sold a big bundle (over 80 items) and got £56 for it, don't sell yourself short if you are going to do a BIN

Good luck to all EBaying today!

Right off to read your PM

    Morning all,

I was woken this morning by DD just before 8 saying 'daddy go to tesco for my toast please' so I get and go come back with the bread and she says 'don't need it now daddy, I've had cereal' - kids eh.
Oh well, since DD and DS and OH are engrossed in 'The Jungle Book' my big task today is to sort out the playroom.
We turned the two coalsheds at the back of our house into one room a few years ago and sometimes it's a play room other times, like now, it's a giant messy toy cupboard.

Hello all. I've been woken by my cats at 7am this morning as always - who needs an alarm clock? I made them wait till nearly 8am and then I couldn't take it any longer and got up to feed them. They are very restless today, lots of fighting and chasing up and downstairs. I think an enforced ejection out into the garden is called for.

Went out for a curry last night with some people at work I don't normally go out with. Was a really nice evening and made me realise that I have set ideas of what people are like when I really don't know them other than from an odd phone call or email at work or when we happen to use the kitchen at the same time. I really do need to stop judging people!

Today I am going to look at what SEO is and start making plans on building my website. I want to see if it is something I can do myself or if I need to pay someone.

Munchki, is this what you were talking about doing the other day? I wasn't sure if that's what you meant.

Also need to clean my poor neglected car and house. It's a lovely day outside and I feel like I should be out in the garden, but I can't justify leaving my cleaning yet again.

    Have a good day everyone.

  • Morning all.

Having a lazy day so far ! I was hoping baby would go back to sleep after her bottle so I could grab a shower and some breakfast, but she's decided to stay awake - nearly due for the next one so I 've wasted 3 hours sitting around thinking any minute now... !! Story of my life :rotfl:

Gorgeous weather here - but no kids to enjoy it with ! I got so sick of saying we'll go to the park then seeing the rain and having heartbroken kids. Now its glorious sunshine, they are not here ! Typical.

I'm going to attempt to not burn the house down and cook some bacon, then read the weeks papers I buy and never get round to reading. Then I will be ready for some kick !!! action.

    Morning, Morning –
How are we all doing this morning?? X

MoneyM – will work on the SEO a bit later on today. It will help break the day up as I have been doing revision – well in between looking at random stuff on the tinternet. So, I will get into wordpress for you and make some recommendations. Thanks sweets for thinking of me x Also, in all likely hood I will give you a feedback report Monday Avo with a breakdown of what I have done and why.

MummyandPaige – well done! What a great deal on the stock.

Eminently – I know the feeling about the need to retreat. Just hope that you are feeling a bit better. How is work going with the new promotion and all?

PaulaB – I hope that the little one is okay x

Wayne – well done on the lottery win!:T
Saucy – don’t bother with your Mum, it isn’t worth the heartache you have enough on your plate without getting crap of her. My mate has the same problems each year with her Mum!

Joprah – how is OH and DD are doing are they okay now??? Hope that they are getting better.

2cats – I loved mastercrafts, got sucked in as the red head is the girlfriend of a work mate. I really loved Trev’s piece though. I am going to watch the whole series on iplayer. It was amazing to see the whole thing come together. I also really felt sorry for Trev! But, I like that girl Ash.

Preciousb – the seo and marketing angle depend on what you are selling. You should think about the following:

Is your product or product range bloggable – if you have an interesting blog you can gain a following and showcase new products.

·Do you have twitter, about 40% of my web referrals have come from twitter. If you are able to sync this with a blog and refer to your main website you will have a good means of driving up traffic.

·Do you have a facebook fanpage – it is a good way of connecting with people and talking about products.

·Are there blogs that you could comment on related to your product field – if you can there is a way of developing backlinks and this will help increase your site ranking on google.

Just a few suggestions to get you going for now – I hope that this helps!

Evenstar – I used parcel monkey they are good I had no problems with them at all.

MMTWGR – hugs, I had a few problems when I was younger with depression. I had to resolve it on my own as my GP was a useful as a solar powered torch! But, tbh I had a look at some depression groups and it just made me more depressed. I found it more useful to study psychology and counselling so that I could help myself alone. Some situations like this thread it is great to be surrounded by others with the same goal! But, in the case of depression I did not find it useful at all.

Joey – I can do a SEO report for you as long as you can do basic HTML and understand meta tags you should be able to implement the recommendations that I give you on your own. BUT, MoneyM is first in queue so if you still want my help I reckon it will be a bit later on in the week – Weds/Thurs. Or as you mentioned our Munchki is doing SEO too methinks. You can also download a free version of link assistant - it will give you some basic advice. Also, try this forum link I found it useful http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1702423&page=2

Jeeze, don’t I write a load... excuse the essay folks:

If you have the chance try and get company magazine. It is all about blogging and has some helpful advice and ideas. Or if you don’t want to buy it just read it in WHSmith instead...
