Laptop is soo speedy in my bedroom, but I leave it so late to come up and try and use it, I am practically comotose before I start.

I might go to bed at 7pm tomorrow ! Lots of MSE fun to be had then

  • Haha I know. I'm terrible at this bit. Makes no sense to me! His friend has just text me saying he is looking after him and will bring him home soon...he always writes me a card the day after too, apologizing for keeping him out after midnight. He's dead cute...he's from Mexico, so I guess it must be the done thing over there.

Now Saucy ... I tried 3 or 4 times to write something but it all sounded naughty. That was the best attempt I made ! Still failed :D

Is the Mexican single? I could do with a polite, well mannered man who knows how to write whole words. Can he do joined up writing? Because its been years since I found a man who could. Or spell correctly. Or use grammar appropriately. Or put the loo seat down.

  • Erm, well he might be polite and well mannered to me, but he isn't too his own girlfriend...he is in an arranged relationship, and isn't happy, but won't let his family down. His family phoned him while he was here yesterday to announce his wedding date in two years...He won't talk to them though.

Although according to OH he has just admitted that he fancies one of their other friends girlfriends...
Could be fireworks? He is a lovely man. He always makes sure I am okay, and brings me food and includes me. Even invited me to Fifa night, lol.

My own friends suck. OH has met some nice 'girlfriends' of his friends he offered to introduce me too but I'm unsure...I make friends incredibly easily, but as I have to distance learn, I don't see anyone anymore. The doctors suggested I met the local depression group, lol. Not really what I had in mind! You guys keep me going :)

  • I'm the opposite - I can talk to people but I cant make friends easily. I find it impossible to go from 'How are you?' to 'Let's exchange phone numbers' or ' Fancy a brew'

Having suffered from depression 4 times now, I cant ever think of a time when I would have considered joining a depression group ! Someone else might be able to be more positive about the prospect, but it conjures up a thought of Crazy People film before Dudley Moore gets there and unleashes their spirit.

  • The doctors email says
"There is a group that meets close to you every Wednesday. I will be honest, there is not a member under 40, and they very often don't actually stay long enough to order anything, but its the only thing I can think of right now."

Didn't really sell it to me!

I shocked OH I think, he struggles a bit with friend making, but last time I went I made five really good friends. Then they all dropped out over Christmas...well, two failed, the other three dropped out. But none live close anymore, so although we talk occasionally, it's a bit pointless.

I'm a nineteen year old loner, lol. Ah well, at least I'm cheerful tonight. And not at all tired, which isn't good! Fibro is all over the place at the moment. Sorry to hear about your depression, I hope you are feeling okay at the moment?

MMTWGR - Is there even such a thing as a bloke who puts the toilet seat down ?
  • Yes! He's trained, lol.
Although I was at a house the other day that had a toilet seat the closes itself. Did make me laugh!
