babymoo - love it, there is something similar that someone on the craft for xmas board did, they filled them with gold chocs and put a scratch card in them, called them pots of gold.
Had a nosey, love your xmas choccy ones, they are gorgeous!
Would def go for it. Only thing I would add is to maybe take pics without the wrapping too as it is had to see through, but fab idea.
If you have the time, or I do, will try and find the link for you xturn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
Snap, curled up on the bed with some notebook making stuff and my laptop. OH has pretty much eaten everything in the house, we usually go shopping on Monday's but I didn't feel well then, or yesterday, so will have to go today. Wouldn't mind if I could go now, to get it out of the way, but he's got meetings soon, until 7....
Just had some natural yoghurt, and am hoping that will help. No real appetite, but no food either, and not much too drink. Was going to try and eat some cereal but OH's friend drank all the milk last night...I wish the council or someone would give me some help with this. OH would go on his own but it's not fair to make him go, he gets really stressed trying to find things. When he goes home for any length of time, we have to make sure I have enough, because if I run out of anything like I did last weekend, I have nothing to eat or drink. I just can't make it on my own...or even with him on days like recently.
Sorry, that was a huge essay. It helped to get it out a bit, though. Thank you
Edit: Thanks Mummy. I appreciate the concern, makes me feel much less lonely having people to talk to on hereSignature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Thank you mummyandpaige, I did think about that ye, I will undo it and take pics with out the cellophane on.
I think I may have a go at putting one on ebay and see how it fairs, if I get a lot of interest I will register as SE etc
Thanks, i love decorative wrap on anything and spend absolutely ages wrapping everything up that I give lol.0 -
Saucy, do you not get DLA or anything like that? What about having a wheelchair for your really bad days when you just have to go out, or using a stores wheelchair when you get there?
I do that all the time if I go shopping with mum, there is no way I can go shopping and walk around for an hour, Id be in agony, the stores wheelchairs are a lifesaver.0 -
Home delivery all the way! 3 miles, a double buggy, no car and 2 under 3yrs.
Get the timing right and it only costs £3, if you haven't done it before there is a code for £10 off a £50 spend meaning delivery andsome food is free. Plus they have to deliver to your door (even your kitchen if you ask them too!) means all you have to do is put it away x
Babymoo - have you tried Folksy and Etsy? Think that are the sort of thing that would fit in on there. Not a crafter so thats it for my imput, but worth a go def.turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
No tbh I havent at all. Do things sell well on Folksy and Etsy? How do I go about starting on something like that? Will I have to register as SE if I join them? I don't want to register unless I'm going to make something out of it if that makes sense. I have never understood how it works tbh.0

Will I need food hygiene and all that that goes with it? Even if I'm not making the sweets I'm buying them in.0

Think the jist of it, is that it is like EBay, but only Buy it nows and crafts. Register for SE, it is only 1 small form, and declare your earnings as under the tax threshold, as long as you make something like less than £5000 a year from it, then you don't have to pay anything. If you go into your local tax office and explain, then they will even help you fill it out, you will get in more trouble by not registering. As soon as you list something for resale, weather it be something you made, or something you bought just to sell on, it is classed as earnings, all the junk you clear out, isn't.
Edit: you don't have to be SE to join them ,you can start listing now and fill out the forms next time you are in town or at the POturn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
Think as long as you are not making them, the answer will be no.
Forgot, you would need to register for the wedding favours anyway.xturn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0
