Bbaymoo - I'm no expert but I think you need to do a few more things before doing 2nd chance offer. think first would be to open a non paid Item dispute or whatever its called. Then if that doesn't sort it out 2nd chance offer should be fine. but someone on here will know more precisely or nip on the ebay and auction forum on here or the forums on ebay itself.

It says sorry it is too early to open this case, you will be able to open this case on 10 Mar 2010 ... funnily enough I thought I was already there?!
I'll try again with it later. Thank you0 -

Babymoo maybe it depends what time of day your auction ended ie it might be 8pm on 10th March??“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

OK how strange the buyer just messaged me saying "please could you bear with me I need to go to kent to say goodbye to a dying relative and spend some time with my aunt after he has gone, please could you bear with me?"
Now my heart says take all the time you need but surely if they had the time to write me that message they had the time to click 3-4 buttons to pay me? Am I being a bit harsh now?0 -
No worries MM0

Babymoo I would be tempted to respond by saying you are sorry to hear about their relative and is there any reason why they cannot pay by paypal as it is very quick and takes no more time than sending an email.
If there are reasons why they are having difficulty paying with paypal you would be happy to hear them and then make a decision based upon that information otherwise because of your own personal circumstances you are going to either open a non paying bidder resolution or offer it to someone else on a second chance offer. Ask them to reply by tomorrow.
just my thoughts

Does anyone else feel like hiding under their duvet when everything feels like it is going wrong or do I just need to grow up? There is so much in my head it feels like it might explode at any moment.
Baby, I'd probably think the same as you, to be honest. How long has it been? Did they give any indication of when they would be paying, or was that the whole message? It's a bit ambiguous.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0
