Morning, how is everyone?
I'm feeling slightly better than yesterday - sorry for moaning about it everyone!
Well had my final interveiw for hairdressing today and I think it went well. So fingers crossed and i'll find out within 14 days. It probably helped that the lecturer was also a mum and we just chatted babies. She seemed really impressed with my school grades (which I always thought were pretty dire) and that at 21 I knew exactly what I wanted from the course, haha. Must have sold myself well :rotfl:for once. Noticed other people turning up for interveiws in jeans (and one in very, VERY slashed leggings). Is it just me or is interveiw etiquette just gone to the dogs? My mum drummed it into my head that you always went smartly dressed to interveiws and funerals. Or am I just being pernickity?
Also my pretty new laptop is winging its way to me as we speak. Ok, its technically a birthday/mums day pressie but meh, still excited. :j0 -
cally - That's pretty much all I want. I have in my mind a picture of my 'idea' name, underneath that my slogan, and to the left of that-a picture of the tyne bridge but without the background. I have the picture of the bridge but just need to somehow get it off the photo and onto a plain background then work on the lettering and font style.Would like to: Retire at 54. 19yrs .Clear mortgage by 50. 16yrs. They met on a dark cold, bright starry night on a deserted highway. Nigel popped Munchki's bonnet up (on the car for the dirty minded folk). He took one look at it, turned towards her and said "I'm your knight in shining armour but I can't sort the car out in the dark on this highway with no tools". With that, he got the car on to the back of the pick up truck. Nigel and Munchki and the two dogs all crammed in to the front of the truck (well the dogs had a seat each meaning Nigel and Munchki had to sit rather close together.
etc etc
How am I doing ?
