Paulabear - I love it, love it, love it!! Thank you so much.

Problem - I can't buy it! It won't let me register as Joey - have I already registered with you and can't remember? If I register as JoeyGrey will I be able to buy it even though it says reserved for Joey?

Aargh, too early in the morning for this much thinking :p

ETA - I'm an idiot. I was thinking I had to register for your particular shop. Didn't realise it was just the Folksy site I was logging into. I'm just trying to work it all out now. Doh!!

I take one of those thin waterproof jackets (kagouls?). I wear it for the first ten minutes and then I'm too warm for it. It ties round my waist but doesn't weigh anything. I used to wear a big hoodie, but when you get warm, it is sooooo heavy round your waist.

If you walk your dog three times a week you are already fitter than I was when I started last May/June - and I ran the 10k in September!!

No. I was told that your body needs more than 24 hours to recover so I went every other day. I'm intending to run M,W and F now, with an odd weekend thrown in if my brother wants to go.

Seriously, you might not lose any weight as the muscle goes on, but your body starts to feel different. And if you're feeling a bit down, it must release chemicals (endorphines I think?) that give you a high, particularly if you set yourself a little goal each time that is reachable. It really does leave you buzzing, once you get your breath back :p
