Hi again, well kitty and I have arrived safe and sound in Nottingham. *huge sigh of relief*

Is Nottingham where you live? I could trawl through the pages to check but I haven't got two days spare! Still curious to hear about the job saga when you too have a spare few days :rotfl:
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

  • thanks to everyone who has commented on my posts regarding registering s/e as an ebayer seller and how it would work with wtc etc. Am thinking I should do ebay for 16 hours and go down s/e route, given that OH isnt keen for me to go out to work for the same hours while baby is so young. I have worked in retail alot, love bootsales and ebay anyway and have experience of ebay as have sold own odds and sods off over last few years, intermitently and with no real effort granted but have still built up a reputation - approx 400 positive transactions. What I am wondering now is how detailed acs have to be, and whether its best to offset loss from my shop last year against oh's wages or to leave til I have my ebay business.....dont think I will make lots of profit for first few years so prob best to offset against oh's salary isnt it....sorry if thats a really stupid qu with an obvious answer I am v tired today!!

Because whoever's in charge thinks it's more interesting for us and doesn't realise we'd quite like a nice long holiday :)

Glad it's all getting better, you deserve it after all that work and interviews and travel!! Big hugs :T

Victoriaplum, think you might get more sensible answers in the morning lol, I think it sounds good but don't know about your questions sorry! Good luck :)

    Off to bed xx

When I lived in a student house there was one who used to come and sit on your knee and be all lovely until you realised she'd dribbled all over your clothes!

It must have been an omen! :rotfl:

Ooh, I'm so excited to see the sulkie - I'll be on first thing in the morning and then late afternoon. So you'll have to let me know when you are putting it in your shop so I can grab it :T

    opkay first things first.....

I would phone CTC and advise them off the loss and offset it against family income.

    Accounts..... easy....
    turnover
    less expenses
    equals profit

that literally is all you need to do.

Happy to help if you need it!!

    I;m off to bed too....

    night everyone

    Night mambury.
    yay - hello munchki :T:T:T
Victoriaplum. I think it makes sense to offset against oh's if you can but I am tired. Sounds like you are getting sorted out though.
    Paula - I looooove Jamie's saying.
Me and DD are downstairs watching cliffords puppy days on dvd now with the fan on. fan was her idea not mine.
She is so wobbly but very cute.
She's definitely going to be in my bed tonight - can't cope with getting in and out of that midi-sleeper much more tonight:rotfl:.
Em - too tired for ideas but maybe an insomniacs and parents of wakeful children support group!!
