Orange mis-sold me my phone

I don't know if this is any help or not, but Orange web site only has one 5800 described as "Express Music" - and it is out of stock.

Now if that is the model advertised on their web site and it is the one that comes with music, you are on a winner.

They did have a big splash last year - see http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/24058/orange-nokia-5800-xpressmusic-comes-with-music for example - and, unless they make it clear that this offer has been withdrawn or that there are 2 versions in their blurb, then how is any customer supposed to know.

I suggest you Google "Nokia Comes Music Orange", get a couple of examples printed out, then go back in the shop and ask them where they advertise 2 different versions or show you where the offer has been withdrawn.

Office Customer Services have always been helpful to me and if you get a good rep, they can often be on your side.

Well I got it off the internal system years ago, But (bazaarly) I've just looked on the 'dept board' in the entrance to Keypoint and there is says Exec office !!

This is interesting, instore POS advises of the two variants of the 5800 one CWM and one without. The 5800 CWM hasn't been discontinued, just stock hasn't been replenished as fast since it hasn't been an overtly popular option. Nonetheless changing the upgrade wouldn't have caused too much issue. Can I just ask did they put you on a comes with music contract? You can only get the 5800 CWM on a specific tariff. Last I remember it started off at 25 quid including 200 mins unlimited texts and the CWM subscription.

If you have been put on that contract/price plan or myabe higher then clearly the store has !!!!ed up. Either way going through exec office they will sort it out for you, its not like your trying to con anyone, merely get what you were sold. Likelyhood is Exec office will arrange the exchange within the week.
