internet provider?

Please help,all very new to this!any suggestions to a good,basic internet provider.My parents going to get the internet but are off the main "exchange" so its double the price with the likes of talk talk.Any one know a cheaper provider.THANKYOU.:)

If there are no LLU providers (and http://www.samknows.com/broadband/search.php will tell you if there are) then you are stuck with BTw IPstream resellers and because of the prices they have to pay BTw they are unlikely to be cheap.

The only way you'll be able to save money is by taking a light user package even then you'll probably be paying £12 up

Post up what LLU operators are shown by the SamKnows link above.

They are not 'off the main exchange', but by the sound of it they are on an exchange without any LLU options (or at least without a TT LLU option).
Samknows will reveal all.
