I have picked up neighbours mail from the drive and lawn 3 times. Rang the local office and heard nothing. Wrong mail put through my letter box, caught the postman up and held the letters out to him. He said "can you take them round for me? I've already been that way" Rang local office, nothing. There seems no way to complain higher. The web site has a link saying send email but when you click on it you just go back to the start "what type of complaint". I could go on and on.
I now only buy mail order if assured they use a courier service.

complaining via the website/customer service creates reports on the CLEO(communication link every office) system
so am manager must at the very least look at complaint and put in a resolution
    this is all auditable

I get a lot of my "signed for" just shoved through the door, ok for me but not for the people who paid for the service.

I had a delivery made to the wrong door by Royal Mail, they didn't put a card through as there is no letter box on my back door they just left it outside my door - the worse thing was I was in and heard the knock, went to the front door expecting a delivery and they were at the wrong door, I went to the back door after but they had already gone :( Now if I'm expecting anything I put a "Please use other door" note on the back just in case!

Our normal postie must be on holiday this week ( I do hope he's coming back he is brill) on Monday our post arrived at 5 to 5, normally arrives around 11. The temp also doesn't seem able to post a letter through our letterbox without scrunching them up. My oh got his new driving licence through along with his birth cert & they were folded in 3 screwed up & sticking out the letterbox:mad: surely 1 of the 1st lessons is how to be a postie is how to stick a letter through the letterbox without making a blooming mess of it.

It reminded me of how a paperboy would stick the newspaper through the letterbox, maybe he got promoted from paperboy to postman. I do appreciate the job you/they do & know I couldn't do it, it just annoyed me to find what is after all important documents practically screwed up & accessible to anyone passing. I'm hoping it's our usual reliable postie (who incidentally has the best handwriting I have EVER seen by a man) when my hubby & daughters passports need delivering.
