Well, I've never heard of that one.
    Is there such rules anywhere.

What (s)he means is maybe they live in an area where they are not allowed to park commercial vehicles (eg sign written vans)

Do they have their name on the van, just the fact that its there speaks volumes.
My van is not signwriten deliberately. Two main reasons. 1. The insurance goes up and I'd rather like to keep my overheads and therefore my prices down thank you and 2) All you do is advertise the potential contents to the local villainy and other such ne'redowells. Also I am not (by covenant from 1930 something - never mind new builds) allowed to park a commercial vehicle on my driveway. I get all my biz via recommends anyway.

    No contest.

So what volumes does it speak?

    Cheers

    Get another quote or two??

Hubbie has no writting on his work vehicle either now - again, recommendations keep him going.
  • Yes was given 2 other quotes -

one for £7000 to supply and fit new kitchen, decorate and supply and fit new bathroom.

One for £6890 to supply and fit new kitchen, decorate and minor upgrade to bathroom.

I am now going to paint the rooms - supply and fit of new kitchen units and sink only £2030, plastering all room but not all walls- roughly 14 walls of 20, new skirting in living roomsx2, skip = £1990 total £4020

So I have not done so bad plus I'm saving roughly £900 on painting.
