Thanks guys! I hope everything is going well with both of you?
Banking checked nothing to report!
Off to take DS1 to dentist this morning and I think I may go to Iceland to buy some freezer stuff for over the holidays. Housework day too....won't get much done though as I won't be in a lot of today. Popping to see a friend after the school run this afternoon for a cuppa and a chat and to have a look at her freshly decorated front room....always enjoy a good nosey:D
Shall be not moving from the sofa this evening!November NSD's - 70 -
Finally finished everything on my todo list yesterday:D Now I can just sit back and chill until 5th January when the kids go back to school and enjoy the time I have with them.
Have a busy week next week with people in and out. Monday I have my friend in to plaster part of my front room and make good the work done from the summer when I had a radiator moved, off to see a panto on Monday night, Tuesday my dad is decorating the front room and I can't wait! I also have cavity wall insulation being done on Tuesday and DS3's sisters are popping in for a visit:) Wednesday my best friend is coming round with her kids to swap prezzies and have a natter, will be good to see her as we both have busy lives and are single parents so the opportunity to get together doesn't happen that much. I think I have a free day on Thursday:D Friday I have various people nipping in and a few drinks! However, I don't plan on leaving the house at all all week!
I have £25 left to my name to last me until January and I don't need to buy anything except perhaps milk next week:)
Banking all done, not that I have to do anything nowadays:) Lots going in and out of account tomorrow but it is all automatic so I am feeling slightly redundant!
Looking forward to a fresh new year and more plans for the house. I would like to get the front room totally finished next year, which means buying a new sofa but that won't happen until much later in 2011. I also want the new flooring done in the bathroom, hoping to get this done asap. Lots of other little jobs to do around the house but it is looking fab now, I have done loads in the last 12 months and it is starting to take shape. Most of the prep work has now been completed, so it is all just buying new furniture and stuff from now on. I hope to be finished by the end of 2011. I think if I am overly careful with the money then I can do it!
I will be going to Ikea in January to buy a few bits, but it won't be a lot as I don't have a huge amount of money in January to spend on the house. I need to get our passports sorted for Disney during January and February and this is going to cost around £280!!!!!!!! We have to have them though and it is budgeted for.
Hope everyone has a good sunday xNovember NSD's - 70 -
Morning! Monday again!
Just sent DS1 out on his paper round, he is having to walk it as it is too icy to cycle. Ive been up since 5am and am having my 5th cup of tea!
I can hear movement upstairs and am guessing it is DD waking up. I do love the peaceful time of the morning when the kids are still all asleep which I wouldn't get if I didn't get up at 5am!
Banking checked, all looks good everything in and out as it should be. Plasterer round this afternoon so need to finish clearing the front room out this morning. Dad in to repaint tomorrow, yay!
Starting to think about DS2 birthday on 29th. He is having friends to stay over and a takeaway pizza for his treat. He is having a joint christmas/birthday present so nothing to open in his birthday. I have bought his card and my mum usually buys his cake, so I think I have got everything sorted.
Hope everyone has a good monday xNovember NSD's - 70 -

Wow another christmas over already and countdown until the new year starts now!
Had a hectic christmas as my grandad was taken into hospital christmas day, we are waiting on test results now. Got some lovely presents and mum and dad bought me a new docking station for my ipod:) I had been wanting a new one for ages!!!
Kids were spoilt and got so much stuff, loads of Dvd's to keep them amused for a while!
I am now putting the finishing touches to my budget for next year and working out what else I can afford to do on the house.
Mum and Dad announced after christmas dinner that they were treating all of us kids and grandchildren (11 of us) to a week all inclusive to Menorca (just up the road from their villa). We were all shocked! We think we will go in July sometime. What a amazing present! Something lovely to look forward to for next year!
House is a pit, so will be doing lots of housework today, masses of washing to sort out. Have a great day everyone xNovember NSD's - 70
