I will get the letters sent off today - as soon as I get up! Just a small query regarding Morgan Stanley. As this was the account for which they sent the "wrong" document - a signed agreement from someone completely different with the sam surname - do I still send the same letter as the others or do I send te one you originally suggested. It would be good to tell them that they had fouled up but I will be guided by you on this one!
And thanks very much for everything - as ever.
Hi Ann
You're just an eager beaver really - come on admit it(you knew i'd be here at 5am cos I told you I would be)..... :rotfl:
But seriously I told you i'd not leave things too long with you, as always if and when they respond let me know via PM/Email and i'll sort it for you.
Regards to Morgan Stanley - sorry, you're right (it's early and I forgot I done that other letter for them, then asked you to wait as per George's suggestion) - send the letter I actually done for you, it was personalised wasn't it - the one where i've accused them of being cowboys (pretty much every letter I ever write then!)...
So yes, send the other letter to Morgan Stanley.2010 - year of the troll

Ann,

Anyway, hope you're a wee bit cheerier - so how many are we through so far? Is that about 6 agreements so far, that are subsequently unenforceable?2010 - year of the troll

Hi NID,
After today "we" will have responded to 5 (out of 17!).
Am still waiting for the 4th Barclaycard, RBS, Tesco, Santander (2), M&S (2), Amex, John Lewis, Capital One.
Am stukk waiting for confirmation that my pension has been paid into my new bank account - it is due on the 2nd - before contacting HSBC and First Direct,
And, yes, I am keeping you busy!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

I don't understand all the different solutions and their acronyms, though I'm getting there. I just know I need to get a grip on my debts which, like yours, I have accumulated through 'normal' everyday living, no big cars, expensive holidays or flash Plasma TVs.
I'm off to bed now so that I can get up early tomorrow to start sorting out the mess that is my financial affairs.Best of luck, Pixiechick,
I found that the hardest part was taking my head out of the sand and admitting I had a problem.
Now I just wish so hard that I had done it much earlier, when I was so much younger and still working with a decent salary. But isn't hindsight wonderful?
But it does feel good to be doing something about it - however belatedly!
Hi Pixiechick - As Ann says the hardest part is admitting you have a problem, once you've had that LBM it is very scary, but once you get on that road to being debt free it is such a relief. And don't feel stupid about it - I did exactly the same and I'm now 6 years from retirement and DH has 2 years! As Ann says isn't hindsight wonderful.

So consider us in the holding pattern for the moment. and thank you again for the offer, you're a star, and my DS was quite pleased about yesterday's result as well............More than Two Years in
