Mowing grass is utterly satisfying! but does involve drinking copious amounts of lucozade and having hypos anyway!!! Janet has just called and insisted i am staying over tonight. Jinny she is just like you!!!! We are going to see a film tommorrow. I will come home as soon as i can. I hope you have fun. Please cut and paste yourself into the Sweepstake everyone.

Roob, Hello, originally i thought the same as you. Now i realise how easy it is to talk on here, you can share your worries and the nicest people help. I am certain that Ann has a family that loves her dearly but you cannot tell family everything sometimes. With time it may be possible but she must do it at her own pace. (Please dont stress either of you, i dont want to upset anyone) This is our virtual family and we love her dearly too. She has changed so many of our lives. Big hugs Ann. We love you. Roob we love you too!!! Ps. dont worry we are kissing Ann. I am not a pervert!

When my hubby lost his previous job (as it went into administration) the CCCS were very good, its like a great weight lifted.;)

I've had a very busy day in the glorious sunshine with my daughter and grandaughter. Off to watch the last part of Great British Menu and the fantastic Springwatch later.

Warning - When I Am an Old Woman I Shall Wear Purple

When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple
with a red hat that doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
and satin candles, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I am tired
and gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
and run my stick along the public railings
and make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
and pick the flowers in other people's gardens
and learn to spit.

You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
and eat three pounds of sausages at a go
or only bread and pickles for a week
and hoard pens and pencils and beer nuts and things in boxes.

But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
and pay our rent and not swear in the street
and set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.
But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

Did you have a nice day? Its sooo hot up here in scotland.. I took the kidlet to the park and found an elephant (no really the circus is in town but they were walking the elephant in the park) to a 15 month old it was fantastic and im so getting a mother of the year award.. when he can make one out of dried pasta!

Im guessing it was hot down your way as well?

Yes verey hot down here too, and forecast for hotter weather tomorrow, lets hope it lasts til the weekend.

It sounds like you had a great time in the park, and its not often you see an elephant walking by lol

LOL no its not, Im hoping to go to a Pick your own berry farm this weekend but I just saw forecast RAIN! Oh well we shall see... I got the cutest Wellies for the lil man.
