Frightened about my future

Hi Ann,
I think that our generation is much "younger" at 50 - 80 than our parents generations were. Not only do we look younger, but our outlooks and attitudes are younger too.

Ladies, age is a number. My dearest friends are all 10 years older than me and they are wonderful. The important thing is to be happy and make the most of everyday and you clearly do that.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

That's a really good point, Elsie!

Well done in organising this, SW!
But I bet you may be wishing you had never started it! And just wait until the action begins ...."What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Ann's family will be arriving soon. Vacuuming is hard work. Especially dog hairs! I looked after my friends dog for a week and she is so little but there were hairs everywhere!!! I must go and do the garden. I am going out for a meal tonight. I will be back late. hugs, sw.

Am about to switch off the laptop - probably won't be on here now until Saturday evening!
House is tidy - think I have destoryed all evidence of dog going where she shouldn't (!), iron is clean.
Dog and I are currently in the garden enjoying the sun.
Looking forward to spending tomorrow with little grand-daughter - not looking forward to reading the post when I finally arrive home, though!

Enjoy your time Ann......see you on Saturday

Mouseann... I feel for you and totally empathise with the scariness of it all.... i've recently been declared bankrupt and did the same thing living way beyond my means and feeling too ashamed to tell anyone.
The moment you take contol, the fear will lessen. You must talk to a debt-related charity - Citizens Advice are a good place to start but I would suggest speaking to the CCCS - I had a DMP with them (debt management plan) for a no. of years before I declared myself bankrupt this year - going bankrupt has been the best thing for me - but it must be taken under advice - especially as you have a home (I rent).
I would urge you to speak to family and/or friends to share this burden. Take it from one who knows, once you start talking about it, your fear will start to diminish. You cannot simply ignore it and must take your situation into your own hands. You can do it!!!0
