    Hello everybody,

As it is nearly 7:00 p.m. I think I can safely say that there hasn't been any sign of my "visitor" from HBOS!

So, it looks as if Niddy's letter worked - although, as 3Dogs pointed out, they probably had no intention of calling in person! I have had a phone call from them (which, of course, I totally ignored!) at about 6:00 p.m.

But I did jump when a leaflet from a pizza delivery company came through the letter-box!

Now waiting to see what they do put in writing, as they have been told that this is the only way they should communicate with me!

Ann, Make sure your neighbors know you're away for the week and to keep an eye on your house. Are you going anywhere nice?

    Thanks Fitzer,

Actually, I had a big "falling out" with my neighbour over the fence! And they are the only ones I really see anything of! But, I never got on very well with them, so am not at all upset at this! My garden is quite overlooked, so I am not too worried about things!

Am going to house sit for my son for a few days, but staying over for a few extra days. They do live about 150 miles away, so it is quite a long journey.

    Hi Ann

Just in case I don't get chance to post later, wanted to say have a lovely week away.:T:T Forget all the money worries and enjoy your break.

We went away at the end of April, and I wanted to go, but at the same time, I wanted to be around in case anything happened with our CCA requests.:( But when I was away, I pushed everything else to the back of my mind and had a thoroughly enjoyable time, and came back very relaxed.:)

Problems were still here, but I felt better able to deal with them after a break.:D

NID - Absolutely hilarious, nesting on a Friday afternoon!

That's a rather civilised word for it!

    Thanks Elsie,

I do know exactly what you mean!

Like waiting until the postman has been before I leave here!

But you are right - I shall put it all to the back of my mind and forget all about it! Then try not to break my leg over all the correspondence waiting for me when I get back!

I will be on my own some of the time so I expect to be posting on here - and getting everyone's news! Including an update on THAT pole!
