Sky contract changes - cancellation?

Has anyone cancelled their sky contract based on the new 31day minimum package changes time?

I'm considering it as I don't use it that much, mostly for movies and sport, and do quite frequently just sign up for the odd week of football or whatever.

no but i wondered exactly what it meant.Does it mean you have to give 31 days notice before it is switched off ? we usually knock off sports and films from may to end august and it is pretty quick! Do you also then have to give 31 days notice to get it switched back on as well? that is just asking for things to go wrong in my opinion!

I think it means if you want to downgrade ie switch off multiroom/sky sports etc you have to give them 31 days notice before that would happen, but, I am sure if you were upgrading it would happen straight away.

I have had a recent experience with this - I wanted to switch off multiroom - this didn't happen till 31 days after I requested it.

I wanted to add movies - that happened within minutes. Guess its do with having your money longer.

To downgrade your package you will need to give a minimum of 31 days notice. I believe this starts in April sometime. This will be in line with the 31 days notice to cancel an part of your package.

yes, but still pay for the whole 12 months you CONTRACTED for.
