send them off to head office with your reciept = they send u a giftcard - i do agree alot Tesco staff are so rude and ignorant, u have to train them too as they are very poor at informing the staff of the "ever changing rules".

The company policy is too take them, I was in Warrington store few weeks back almost being laughed at by the c/o and being told (numerous times) that they do not take competitors spend. Ne how i asked for the manager (as u do) n this guy totally ignored me, however he did toddle off and found a piece paper which he read out too me, then gave me an unfamiliar Tesco apology for being totaly wrong....

Hmmm... I think I will take them to Sainsburys rather then to go through this... Don't have stomach for this.

500 points have ALWAYS been only £2.50 off spend.

They were in the shop and at Argos and Experian, but you could exchange your points for special products and goods on their website... Like on activities and such it was slightly better deal.

Hi, have to agree that since debenhams left nectar have been rubbish. I did however spend some nectar points on an argos toy glitch just before xmas, so actually worked out really well.

You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

  • Just been on the nectar site and as well as ASK they are currently giving £5 off for 500 points at Alton Towers, Legoland and Thorpe Park.

Also Vue is still slightly better than standard rate, as 1300 points will get you a peak ticket inside the M25, and 1000 will get you an off-peak ticket inside the M25 or a peak ticket outside. Haven't been to the cinema in a while but I'm sure it's usually more than £6.50 a ticket [or £5.00 off peak] :)
