The points have been rubbish for long time.

Like at Christmas - £8 off on £40 spend. While this year Tesco didn't send me any special Christmas coupons. So then I shopped at Sainsburys and got what ever they had on special offer.

But you could have used the £8 off £40 in tesco, they'd have accepted it!

Who wants to eat at an overpriced Ask restaurant anyway?

I like Ask pizzas, money off a pizza, a free glass of tap water and a £1 for the waiter seems ok to me.

I thought they only take them when they say they will?

My store put up a sign to say when they will take them.

TBH, it was the principle as well. I think supermarkets are getting cocky. Once they think they have you they drop the offers and hope you won't notice.

My friend did get Tesco money off vouchers while me and my other friend didn't. Obviously Tesco felt they don't need to keep us happy.

Also once I got to Sainsburys, I found out that some of their offers are as good as Tesco's and some even better. Some things are more expensive, granted.

Nectar has never been great value - a lot of the items I saw could have been bought much cheaper with cash, leaving the points just to pay for your shopping at Sainsburys or Argos.

I have nearly 200,000 of them, and just don't know what to use them for. So putting them towards the weekly shopping it is for now !

Teso Club Card points are definately better, if you want good value ...

Not in Tesco Stockport they wouldn't! Had a voucher refused just last week. Very unpleasant staff as well.

No you're just lucky with the Tesco you use. I'm sick of complaining to Tesco CS when yet another of my vouchers is refused. Asda here I come.

send them off to head office with your reciept = they send u a giftcard - i do agree alot Tesco staff are so rude and ignorant, u have to train them too as they are very poor at informing the staff of the "ever changing rules".

The company policy is too take them, I was in Warrington store few weeks back almost being laughed at by the c/o and being told (numerous times) that they do not take competitors spend. Ne how i asked for the manager (as u do) n this guy totally ignored me, however he did toddle off and found a piece paper which he read out too me, then gave me an unfamiliar Tesco apology for being totaly wrong....
