Sky broadband

Hi - just noticed that sky is now offering broadband in my area, and it's a lot cheaper, and faster than my current adsl provider (can't get cable in this area). I already subscribe to sky tv.

Anyone have any views on the service. Is it any good?

Bit of info here, but as the service aint started yet noone can say if its going to be good or not.

Thanks, but I've read that before when I was looking into adsl broadband other than cable a few months ago. It's just the way sky's advertising, you would have thought the service was ready.

My own take is that sky is scared. Very scared. Between freeview and the cable companies it is being squeezed hard.

do you have to have a BT phone line? im with NTL

Yup - I'd be with telewest if we could receive cable.
