connecting laptop to internet?

Ive got a desktop pc running from a livebox 5218 upstairs in the house and if i want to use laptop in the house too or the garden how do i get online?
When i go on the laptop it recognises there is a livebox in the house and when i try and connect it asks me for a security code?
Havent got a clue what do i do to connect?

Look on the livebox for a sticker with the security code.
Type it in on your laptop when prompted for it.0 -

open internet explorer
in the address bar type 192.168.1.1 press enter
in user name put admin and password its also admin
this should take you to the router configuration page
on the left there should be the security page click on that
change the password to something you want0 -
