Is it possible to block a mobile number
Comments
-
Nope, because by default all mobiles have caller id, this has never been a network feature. Some phones have a software facility, Sony Ericsson being one, and recent smartphones may have facility do download software that can do this...What phone do you have?0

Nokia n86
thanks0 -
I'm sure there's a Symbian prog that you can use to manage calls with that.
You could assign a silent ringtone to that number and then you'd never know it was calling. I'll see if I can find any links. . .0 -
if you dont mind paying this is excellent, £4, you can get it free but thats a whole different story!

I don't think this is strictly true. My ex had a problem a few years back with a guy who wouldn't leave her alone. She went to the police and got a crime reference number then rang O2 who were able to block calls/texts from his mobile number to her phone...........or maybe it was the knee-capping he got that stop it........0
