Dydd Dewi Sant Hapus to you all!
I'm knackered and skiving today from college all the money saving I did over the w/end seems to have worn me out ! still i'm fairly ahead and I have plenty of other things I could be doing like OMG there is SUN out there - do I dare use the washing line today????
Claire as far as the matress goes ( I have twins so its a fairly common prob here) i tend to give it a scrub and pull it off the bed put it near the window or somewhere to dry out and hope like hell its dry by the evening......if its still not quite dry all the way thro i have been known to turn it over! Hope that helps xx

When I have to dry DS mattress out, I do the same as Sarah-I wash it with warm soapy water and then try and get it outside (if possible) or get it by an open window. I have been known to take a hair dryer to it before or put it by the portable heater (obviously, being VERY CAREFUL not to burn the house donw in the process!)Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

Maz dunno how i'm still sane either the crap i have to put up with here, dh last night called me a doleite cause i asked him to help me have a tidy before he went down the golf range with ds2, was told he works and doesn't make the mess so he shouldn't have to clean it  I most probably do the same amount of work here that hedoes in workBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -

Hi ya Sal!
Nice to see you in such a positive mood-I like the sound of a Freedom Pot!
Claire-I'm afraid I am going to be a bit contraversial here and *kind of* agree in principal with DH (Not that he calls you names, THAT is unforgivable!) but that if you are home all day, the way I see it, it is 'your job'. He does his 8 hours doing what ever he does and you do yours. I know there are certain things you CANNOT do, and I agree he should help you do those (ie. humping a matress about!) but look on the house/kids as your job.
*awaits serious backlash*
I know that when I was off work, I made sure I did all the house work, made all the meals etc. but when DH and I are both working full time, we share a lot of jobs (ie. pink/blue jobs as discussed before)
ETA: is the same vein, I also think you deserve 'down time' doing something just for you, like he does with his golfding or whatever. This is very important!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
catch you all later going to meet mum now, hopefully she will come back here and help me sort beds out if mines dry, bye for nowBoiler pot £30.92/£10000
