I was told i couldn't, i have my visa card linked to my paypal account, i also have a betting account linked to my visa and the only proof of purchase would be my bank statement - i asked Visa if i could use these amounts and was told no as i needed receipts of some kind!

For paypal purchases can't you print off the transaction details? it has the amount and last four digits of the card etc. I've just sent one off today, hope it will be okay. Fingers crossed X.

for those confused about entering purchases made online, I had already won a football and the other week I was putting a few entries in late at night, the last one being just after midnight so inadvertantly won another, as its only 1 per person i didnt claim and have just received a reminder email for my footy win.. it says as follows


"To make sure that you don’t lose out, simply print this email, fill in the form, and post it to the Freepost address below* with a copy of your receipt or on-line payment confirmation for the winning entry"


so as long as you have an on-line payment confirmation for your purchase you can enter it :beer:

But when you purchase using paypal, they send you an online receipt don't they?
Anyway, did they tell you that you couldn't send in your bank statement? Cos i won yesterday and thought I had the amazon confirmation email, as I made sure i kept it, but then checked through today, and it was gone, so I'm guessing I accidentally deleted it. The only proof for me would be my bank statement too. Gonna call them tomorrow and ask.

for amazon, i bought my sister a breadmaker off marketplace ont heir the other year for xmas. it borke and needed receipt to be returned, i was able to go to my amazon account and pull up the details thus print a new receipt(ie purchase proof) from it....might be able to do that?

also ive bene checking my balances today and it looks like visa have another comp ready to go, it had an add on the prepaid website saying win £2012 of groceries with visa but the link took you to this comp....

edit: or maybe not searching here shows it as a comp that ended last year, guess they just havent updated their ads yet.

OMG, fantastic! Thanks so much lol. I can't believe this competition is coming to an end soon!

& yeh the £2012 a day was the competition they had previous to this. There was only like 2 winners recorded on MSE from that LOL.

I caught onto this promotion very late!..just today. and only have about 5 receipts...but if we can use our bank statements as proof...then thats another story!

I entered 30 receipts the other day that I had saved up thinking it would increase my chances to enter them all on the one day but didn't win a thing!
