Thanks tootifruites - he will be so pleased when I tell him.

I have a list for him (pick up toys, make bed, etc etc) but then I will be doing things and he will want to help, so on the spur of the moment I will give him something else to do - and he LIKES hoovering (strange boy) so I let him do it, but hes 8....so I need to go round again sometimes when hes out playing or with his friends.

But 10 out of 10 for effort.

Im snotty and full of cold.....Im going to work before I start moaning xx

I know what you mean about Auntie Flo failing to visit despite her normal plans - she didn't arrive at all in February and has now arrived with vengance! Most odd!! But maybe this accounted for the excessive upset and tears that I had this morning - felt like I could not cope any more with work and pain.... Feel better now but manager told me to stay off work until Monday or for a week what ever I feel is best. No excuses tomorrow - I will be flying to catch up on the week's work as even the kitchen that I did do some in on Monday has become a mess again!:(

Still can't sleep though - wide awake but have a headache and cannot take any more painkillers as have already taken 8 over the day.

    Me

That's what scares the pants off me! I was convinced Aunt Flo was arriving Thurs/Fri last week and then nothing!:mad::mad: I'm now a bit scared as to what will arrive when it eventually does.......

Better get dressed and shove some washing on.

I went to see The Lovely Bones last night. Don't believe the reviews. I thought it was very good and far too scary for a 12a certificate.

I agree that it's far to scary for 12s and under  I'm reading the book, now, which is a lot better, so give that a try if you enjoyed the film :D

    Happy Birthday to your DD

Hi all, did really rubbish yesterday DD3 is at that lovely age - 15 months - when the only thing she finds enjoyable is continually emptying cupboards and drawers and demolishing stuff so much of the day is spent following her round putting back what she's destroyed lol. I'll join you Penny with the HHC although starting late I'll have to go 9 -9.30! Right I'm off
Back on the money saving wagon again!
  • Morning All

I feel a little better (think the sunshine is helping) and did eventually fall asleep some time around 5!! I have taken my pain killers and I am nw back in bed waiting for them to work then I will have a quick shower and be ready to start. I will get up at 9.30 and hopefully will be ready to start down stairs at 10.

    Hope everyone is ok!

We went yesterday to Lisburn (OH getting his tattoo finished) and Rhys screamed the whole time, he is not liking the pram. So i'm gonna take him out for HHC in the garden and try and get him used to it.
Kitchen man arrived last night and put on 3 of the drawers, i'm hoping the rest will be on before the weekend.

DW, TD and WM on. Sorry haven't had a chance to catch up on thread yet, hope everyone is well.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Hope you are all ok today. Was on the great clothes clear out yesterday and I'm going to tackle OH's today when he's out;)

mumof2 I have no advice on how to stop your dog rolling in fox poo but to get rid of the smell rub tomato sauce on to it, rinse off then shampoo. The tomato sauce acts as an nuteraliser. HTH

Right massive list for me but decluttering this week will make it easier for me to clean next week;).
