Old couple going to bed, the woman looks out of the window, and tells her husband, the light is on in the shed.

The old man goes down and finds people breaking in to the shed. He goes back into the house and calls the police, and tells them what is happening.

The police officer says lock your self in the house, we have no one available for about 3 hours, the old man hangs up.

5 mins he called the police back, he says I've shot the burglars, and he hangs up.

5 mins later 5 squad cars, 2 dog teams, 2 helicopters, a swat team arrive at his house, they arrest the burglars in the shed.

1 officer says to the old man, I thought you said you shot them, the old man said to the officer, I thought you said no one was available.............................

Well I haven't 'flown' today but have had some flying influence:T

My new school is dreadfully cluttered and messy cos they seriously haven't thrown anything out for years - a collection of hoarders. I started on one of the staff rooms in the holiday and tonight the teachers in the other staffroom started ripping theirs apart and binning loads of rubbish - maybe, just maybe they're starting to realise how awful it looks! Have been secretly dropping subtle hints for the last few weeks but am amazed to see them working together to clear the rubbish

Just got to get started on the house now

Glad your DS did ok, mine had a maths module today too and I invigilated two as well.

Just going to tidy up from dinner and then I need to empty the airing cupboard for the builder for the morning.

    - I did a week of installing scanning equipment into people's houses in Washington (Newcastle way) once, I met some great people and was offered tea and cake in every house! I've done my fair share of market research over the years I particularly remember doing one of people's radio listening habits.
