DD sorted the pile of games out and found 4 items that have never been used or opened so am considering giving these as xmas presents as they are all different craft kits what would you do is it a bit cheeky of me?

Evening decluttering gang.
Managed to do the uniform shuffle (it took several trips into the loft!) DS2's stuff is sorted (just needs to be labelled) DS3 I will need to buy troussers for as I have none in that size -the others must have trashed them so I'll do a quick M&S order in a minute for those.
Some stuff will be saved for school second hand uniform store. Some hopefully off loaded next week when DS3 goes to tennis - bound to be somebody up there who needs boys sports bottoms and a few bits for charity shop.
I've also been working on one of the paper work jobs.
Need to look at the list to see what I need to do tomorrow. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Nothing useful done today as I have joined the sick list - terrible waste of a day off. Humph.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0

Hex sorry to here that, feeling rough myself so like you have done very little. Have put a few pairs of out grown shoes into the bag to take to the shoe shop charity and done HH on the paperwork.
I'll finish the shoes tomorrow and hopefully most of Mum's paperwork too.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hope you feel better today Dusty.
I want to try and crack on today, ideally with the dining room which didn't get touched yesterday. I have months old paperwork that mostly wants recycling and the collection is tomorrow.
I need fairly urgently to go through the boys clothes, both have had a big grow so lots of things to put in the clothes recycling tomorrow as well.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Thanks Hex I'm feeling much better today. Boys shoes all sorted (apart from DS1's football boots as he is out). I have a chest with all the old boots/wellies etc in kept in the garage; it has saved so much cash over the years. The younger ones love the fact that the boots have been worn in for them :rotfl: I love not having to visit the sports shop and try to find boots that fit their funny feet.
Old ones sorted for carboot sale and charity. Just need to buy new school shoes.
No linen to sort as I did it last time around so back to days one and two of paper and cotton for me.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
DS2 inherits wellies and boots too, saves a lot and they are hardly worn.
I have been through most of their stuff and bagged a big pile for the charity collection. A lot of DS1s trousers have moved into DS2s pile, and I found a pile of next size up uniform stuff and a few other bits of clothes for them that I bought in the sales last year which will take at least some of the pressure off.
Matching socks in vast quantities, so hopefully I wont need to buy more of those either.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
I am still on Monday's challenge, paper!! How much of it can we have in one house!
yesterday I finished the accounts for 09-10 and have everything filed away. Now de-cluttering credit card statements from 02-03. I also have a spread sheet showing all our spending on our barn conversion and receipts/invoices in one folder.
I hope DK and hex are feeling better now.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hi Pooh, paper seems to be everybody's big one.
I've moved on but I'm still doing 30 minutes of paper work every day (for ever more at this rate) until it's done!
I'm fine now apart from some pesky mouth ulcers so have been doing the kids rooms today. One down, one nearly done, one in progress. A nice little pile for the car boot box being createdThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
