Phillips LED downlighters

I certainly would notice the difference, 35w bulbs give out 30% less light than 50w bulbs.
My post is about replacing 50w bulbs, not waiting until they wear out;). I could just take out 30% of the bulbs or maybe all the bulbs and save 100% :rotfl:
You are entitled to your opinion and many thanks for sharing.
Please do report back once you have done it as will be interesting to what you actually do and what you think of the results.
As someone who has done already "done it" I won't be changing my previously-50W but now-35W Gu10's to LED's until they get a lot cheaper and the quality of light improves0 -

In which case your only option is to go to a professional LED lighting company and consult closely with them about suitable solutions that includes new LEDs and new cans (non-GU10). You will NOT get a GU10 replacement for 50W at a price you are prepared to pay. In fact I have not seen a genuine 50W LED replacement at all. The best I have seen are the ones I mention above, which are just about 35W replacements. If anybody wants to point me in the direction of a genuine 50W GU10 replacement I am more than interested...however unless it is giving out 500+ lumens in warm white and a sensible beam angle (at least 50 degrees) it is not worth considering.0 -
I still have to bite the bullet and buy some ,but I have made my choice.
That can be quite time consuming with all the alternative manufacturers stating there LED's are brightest , most natural, etc.
These are the ones I am going for

I am stuck that they can be no longer than standard GU10's as they fit in a closed front holder in the bathroom.
All the other GU10's in my house are on dimmers ..These 4 aren't and the bulbs seem to go far to quickly. So time for a change ...I will report back if they are any good.
Edit
These are supposed to be equivalent to 45W bulb0 -
