I hate to admit it, but my teenage son! :mad: It's not how he was brought up!! He also took the contents of my other son's sealed money box.
The total amount he stole is coming off his Christmas present budget this year, unless he pays it back before then. I'm just really annoyed because although it wasn't a lot, I was going to use it towards a day out Christmas shopping for me and my daughter. We'll still go but it won't be a 'no money worries' day.
No more moneyboxes in my house. Bank accounts all the way.:(0 -
I unfortunately have been a bit slack in the last couple of months and am £60 behind... however I finally get my pay rise in this months pay packet backdated to April (yes its taken that long to get the company to give us a fair deal) so will put in Oct and Nov then to catch up
)
I love this challenge - it has been such an easy manageable way to save and I am definitely doing it next year too! Christams shopping isn't filling me with dread at all this year knowing I have £300 in my piggybank for it.0 -
glad to see hurdles have been overcome and people are purservering.
i'm still a good month behind but think i may just go for a £335 tub instead of trying to catch up.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Hi All
I'm sure I joined this at the begin of the year but I have to say I kinda drift in and out of the threads as and when, but I have stuck to this one, plodded along but I thought I'd update...
I have £300 in the pot which leaves me £65 to go in about 50 days, which is about £1.30 a day, I think I can manage this :T
Hope everyone is doing ok,
(Goes off to catch up on thread)
Cheers
