can I just ask? did you have the courtesy car while your car is being repaired and was this arranged through your insurance company? or did you just ask the garage for a car while yours is in for a no fault accident repair? am not clear on the reason the courtesy car was given to you.0

I agree with the notion that if they're putting an old car like that out as a courtesy then I'd seriously doubt the quality of their work - surely leasing something cheap and using that would give a far better impression for not much money.0

I dont think the quality of their courtesy car reflects how they run their business. Our local BMW specialist used to run about in a knackered old van that had wheel bearings droning and looked like it had never been cleaned inside. However their work is top notch and they are constantly backed up with customers. For this reason they aren't going to spend time and money working on their runabout when that time could be spent working on a customers car and making money.0

Very often, a garage will just use a part x that has a bit of MOT and Tax on it as a loan car before it goes to auction/breakers.0
