I had no problem getting an exchange (and free upgrade) on a faulty phone with no packaging from Argos a few months ago.
I don't suppose there is a similar toy it could be replaced with (or even an upgrade?), that is in stock?
You could try arguing for cash instead of a giftcard - insisting that you would need cash if you wanted to purchase it from their site anyway, but I don't know how far you'll get with that. I don't think the stores are able to "source" the item from their own company if it's online only.0 -
There is no upgrade to it at the moment unfortunatly. They do have it in another colour but my daughter wants another pink one.0

Did some hunting online an found this on there website :j
"If there's a fault with the product...
We've made it easier!
If you've had the product for up to 1 year, we'll repair the product or, if that's not possible, give you a replacement or, if that's not possible, a refund"
Just abit annoyed, about yesterday that the guy lied to me, by telling me it was out of stock for home order and they would be getting them back instore at some point and when I asked about the price he told me it was the same. All of which are lies price has increased, instock online as internet only !
So I now have to make another trip down town, which would have been un-needed if he told me the truth... as I would have argued for a cash refund :mad:0
