i got some new trainers last month, and the soles have split in two already- just from walking about.
i cannot find the receipt, and wondered what rights i have (and can quote!) when taking back to the shop..
have got alternative shoes from elsewhere, so an exchange doesnt really do me any favours..

If you have no proof of purchase then how can you prove to the retailer that you purchased from them.0

You dont need a receipt. You do need proof of purchase though ie bank statement showing transaction etc0
