Thailand or Malasia Flights

Morning - I'm planning on joining a couple of my friends in either Thailand or Malaysia in June...but the flights are really expensive. The cheapest I can find is about £600 to Bangkok - and even more to KL.

Is there anything I can do to get cheaper flights? I'm not going for long so only really want to get a direct flight.

Any suggestions greatly received.:beer:

Failing that get the calendar up on ITA Matrix and see if different days are cheaper.

Thanks - I'd never heard of them before, but flights are still £725:eek: Think I'm just going to accept that's what it's going to cost:(
