number of days pay in lieu of leave(PILOL) 13 days £858.30

Have you looked at an injury claim?
No long term sick/permanent heath cover with the job?

Is you holiday correct, you accumulate holiday while off sick?
been off over a year so there might be more.

How have they worked out 9weeks notice is due is it contract stat rounded up would get 8weeks?

Package? This sounds like a compromise agreement so that you don't pursue it further.
Have you checked this with anyone? Union, ACAS or Citizens Advice? You were injured while carrying out duties for work, as getmore states, shouldn't you be claiming for injury at work?

  • Got a claim ongoing. To be honest i took the deal because i cant see me being able to do my job in the near future. My holidays run from april to april so they made up my last wage slip up with holiday money(my sick/basic pay was up on the 10th feb got paid until 28th).

If the total of £15,053.22 is paid to you via a Compromise Agreement ie a legal adviser is involved, than there is no tax etc to pay. It's only when it's over £30,000 that it will be taxable.

Surely the 11k is part of the compensation offered and presumably to stop any further action from being taken?
    Always ask ACAS

    Not quite....

    The PILON is taxable.

The other 11K will probably be tax free providing it is compensation and not part of a contractual entitlement.

The OP will need independent legal advice. It is normal for the employer to pay towards this.
