Stoves NOT recommended. I have one and it just seems to have no oompf.

Is that a dual fuel or electric oven?

Strangely enough, it was a Belling that made me wonder about the build quality of some better known brands!
10 years ago I was concerned about build quality of Rangemaster.

    Hi

Does it have to be a range cooker?

I have to ask because for this kind of money you are buying a cooker purely made for its looks rather than what it can do. Serious ranges start at about £3000. For your budget you could get a decent built in double oven and hob from Neff say, which would be far better quality, perform much better and last longer.

    Good luck

Thanks for the info. The kitchen is also only 9'x9' so may have to be a bit more realistic about what I can fit in there..... Though I do like the way range cookers look! :p

Edit - by the way, are you a kitchen designer?

    Hi Jonewer

Yes I am a kitchen designer. The other half and I have our own independent kitchen studio based in Hertford.

another vote here for Rangemaster .. bought mine from PIXMANIA, which seems an odd place to buy I agree but it was the cheapest by far (actually it was supplied by Currys in the UK)

Belling - not again thanks - several repairs required and very expensive replacement parts.
